So, I adopted this bike in Corvallis. Its a KHS "Junior Racer," It's cherry red and on 650's. I love it a little.

Where can I find 650 tires/tubes? A singlespeed rear wheel would be fantastic as well. There aren't hills in Corvallis.

Also, does anyone know anything about this tiny little wonder? Google gives me nothing.

650 stuff isn't all that rare. Most shops probably won't have it in stock, but any shop should be able to order it right quick. Finding a factory-built 650 single speed wheel might be a challenge, but the rims, tires, and tubes should be easy to come by.

make sure you know which 650 you are dealing with. it's probably 650c, 571mm, which ben correctly points out is a triathalon size.

isn't there a triathalon shop down on lake washington blvd?

Lee is talking about Triumph Multisport, but I would do Speedy Reedy between the two.

R&E on University Ave has plenty of 650 stuff in stock. They make a habit of putting 650s on all their smaller size touring frames and tiny racing bikes.

Speedy Reedy hooked Jamie up with his Cervelo P3Carbon on a stupid-good deal, so it's ok to show them a little love.

Keep in mind that this is a crappy heavy bike aquired for free. I dont want to put 200$ wheels on this thing. Its only going to get ridden 4 times a year tops.

I need cheap!

You betcha, and what is funny, is that is says "new light tubing" and the damn thing still weighs a million pounds.

Its tiny, though dense.... Just like me, I guess.

Its probably from the 80's, I cant find any info on the "KHS Junior Racer"

Almost all bikes that fit 650C wheels (ISO 571mm) can also fit 26" MTB wheels (ISO 559mm). That makes the options for finding cheap/free wheels much easier. You'll be limited to narrow tires, but there are plenty of narrow 559mm tires out there.

I probably got rid of them, but I may have some 23mm wide Specialized Turbo/S ATB tires if you want them for this bike and switch it over to 26" wheels.

To switch you'd either need to lower the brake pads 6mm ((571-559)/2) or get longer reach brakes. I've done this conversion on friend's bicycles to be able to fit fenders.
