Whadda douche. I know the details have already been covered here, but glad its front page and being given attention.

I believe John said this about those who steal bikes:
"...bike theft should be a capital offense. That scum deserve to be eviscerated under [t]he baleful eye of the great winged one in the frozen plain of dis."
Amen.

Fuck.
Yeah somehow that doesn't feel right. I wanted the guy to get some jail time and I liked that it was on the front page of the paper because it was notice to other bike thieves.
But it didn't deserve his life.
Discuss.

One less douche in the world. There's three ready to take his place, so don't cry for him, Argentina. Maybe the next time one of us drives to a ride, there will be one more parking spot out there.
with the degree of betrayal of trust involved, and the degree in which his "life" was never going to be anything close to good again, I can see why killing himself was an option.
Didn't I read that he tried two other times previous, while a charge of the Police and yet was still able to get it off? Wouldn't you think they'd be watching him pretty close?

Guys, get a grip. He was a respected guy who had a serious problem. He was obviously mentally ill and it caught up to him.

Poor guy, looks like he was a bit compulsive.
Now, if we could just do that with people who drive BMW SUVs.

He told me he was thinking about buying a pair and wanted to know if he could take them for a test ride. He seemed like an OK guy, who would have guessed...

He was a wonderful and committed cyclist, but he stole my grandmother's feet.
I don't want to judge him, because "he who is without sin...".
My grandmother did need her feet though. She used them often.

Bos, a native of Utah, arrived in Longview in early 2006 to work in a satellite clinic run by a prominent Portland podiatrist who caters to athletes. Bos had all the right credentials: a degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and a residency at a top hospital in Columbus, Ohio, according to the application he submitted for a Washington podiatrist license.
And even though some of Bos' job wasn't glamorous — such as giving annual foot exams to diabetics — he was skilled and had a good bedside manner, Kirkpatrick said.
