I found out at 12:15 that the last 550 to bellevue is at 11:50.

Bellevue is hard.

chris -- we need more dba's to ride with us. a++ on keeping up w/o a brake.

this was near-epic. a totally great ride. lots of miles, great crew, the way .83 ought to be. let's do this again.

(also, typing this was haaaard. I've had a lot to drink tonight.)

I'm not a DBA but if I find one that rides I'll ask him/her along.

I'll get the brake for next time. That was brutal.

Great. Another Chris.

Can we get another Mike, John, Matt, Mark, Paul and Brandon, please?

I seriously can't tell you white people apart sometimes.

All white people do look alike, it's true.

But this Chris isn't white.

Aden, I'm doing my part. You've just got to wait 15-20 years.

I'm not white, nor am I a DBA and yes my name is Chris. I have a few nicknames, remnants of my rugby days (none of which seem will fit properly here).

The casino was cool. We certainly threw some, got enough stares...

Certainly more casinos and a proper lake next time. I feel jipped...

There was a distinct lack of outdoor drinking last night. I'm not complaining per se, mostly just making a note so that on future rides we can do what we do best: drink cheap beer in public places.

No kidding. Damn white anglo saxon Christian types.

wikipedia wrote:
(Ἀπόστολος, apostolos, "someone sent out", e.g. with a message or as a delegate) were, according to the Synoptic Gospels and Christian tradition, disciples (followers) whom Jesus of Nazareth had chosen, named, and trained in order to send them on a specific mission. After the Apostle Judas Iscariot had betrayed Jesus, the remaining Apostles under the leadership of Simon Peter filled the vacancy by electing by lot Matthias... Blah blah blah.

.83? Messengers of god?

Judas seems more likely to be the one running with this crowd.

agreed, i debated investigating echo lake proper, but perhaps another time. i feel like it's still the time of year where proper outdoor drinking is strongly assisted by a fire, and i'm hesitant to take derrick anywhere that i don't want to see razed to the ground.

You know how at a normal party, if one computer guy shows up, he stands out as being too weird?

Now Imagine you had a party of just computer guys, and there was this one guy the other computers guys shunned for being to weird. That's a DBA.

The 255 runs later, and there is always the 280.

The last 255 leaves Westlake around 12:10 or so.

The Eastside is hard.
