My main plan for these is to find more abandoned military or other places for us to explore. I've heard tales of an abandoned missle silo on the east side somewhere. I need to do a little more research on these things and any info from you guys would be welcome. Until I have something definite, here's a familiar "stretch your legs" ride from Bauhaus to the Tin Hat going the long way. If someone has a more exciting ride to offer, feel free. This one has medium hills, some flat, some more hills, then booze and debauchery.

hmmm...

that one definitely needs a little more planning, but I'm up for it if it seems workable. There's always a way.

I'm all for that, actually. I'm a little fuzzy on that part of town. Laps at the track sound like a good diversion.

Hell yea. Either the hill bomb or the velodrome look good, plus they would both add some miles..

Take the I-90 path to the East Lake Sammamish trail to Marymoor.

Don't forget to heckle me mercilessly for being a wimp and riding on the trail as opposed to in the bike lane.

I'll be wearing yellow shoes, and a giant chip on my shoulder.

We did 10 last time.. so how about 11 new time? Bauhaus again?

So are we going to Marymoor Velodrome or the hill bomb at Cougar Mountain?

Just talked to Beau and told him to meet us 11am at the Bauhaus.

Now all I have to do is not get too fucked up at the Intelligence/Lights show tonight at the Funhouse.

Whew! Made it home before midnight at least. 11AM at Bauhaus for sure! I'm leaning towards the Velodrome route. Cougar Mountain can be next week.

Alastair has suggested a "Bike to Bang" ride where we go to the shooting range on the eastside and shoot guns. I think this is a grand idea even if Al is completely wussing on tomorrow's ride because his girlfriend wants him to clean his room. We should do this shoot 'em up in the next few weeks.

I heard that the bass player for the lights is a hipster dufus with ridiculous shoes.

That was a great ride! Doing laps at the Velodrome was murder, but still a great time. I need to get a "real" track bike soon.

Yep, good ride, logged 70 miles by the time I got home, the Velodrome is the shit. I'll post some photos later if any of them don't suck.

Guess I did about 10 miles of that route in reverse on foot.
