It's Tuesday, so I want to ride. Anyone else interested?

Preemptively, Ben won't be able to make it due to the advice of his doctor (the new one).

Pre-ride beers at the usual place?

I'll be at that usual place as soon as I get out of the work-hole, or somewhere in the neighborhood of 5:15.

I'm not going to promise to ride bikes, as I have to do laundry and pack for the meeting I'm going to tomorrow, but prefunkage is definitely in order.

The weather looks grand.

My light battery is charged.

Beer is tasty.

Let's ride.

I heard there's free beer, corndogs, toes, kozmo bags, busch & müller headlights, and whiskey here. Might want to make it part of the route.

Seriously, somebody give me a call around 8:30, and we'll try re-unite the groups.

Oh no!

How is this? SeditiousCanary is out riding and I'm stuck at work... this seems backwards.

I don't think I've ever been plied with that much beer from people who weren't trying to get in my pants.

A damn fine evening, completely free of CBC, WSDOT, DeDot, PDOT, or RedDOT. Beer at Madison Beach, then over the Tin Hat in Ballard. A final sprint on 65th for me which I've never ridden at night (fun) and then home. Warm girl, milk, cookies, then sleep.

My convoluted route home.

As nominal ride leader, my goal was to get people on McGilvra Boulevard between Madison Park and the Lake Washington Loop. Mission accomplished. We were heading for the Roanoke Tavern, up an unexpectedly nice Delmar Dr. (it has a bike lane; who knew?), but everyone just decided to go to the Tin Hat instead, and I got dropped while texting. I ended up at Tangletown with the disappointed meeting-goers.

BTW, there are 6 'Ma' beaches in Seattle, all on Lake Washington. On a warmer night, let's go to Martha Washington.
