After which I feel the need for a camp fire.

Awesome! I'm in. I hear Joby has enough whiskey to kill me 3 times over. And i'll clear it with The Beard so I don't spend the whole night saying "Aw fuck, I'm in trouble"

mike snyder gave me a really nice bottle of whiskey to give to joby during the FHR. i was a saint and have saved it this entire time, kept telling joby sorry because i had forgotten to bring it along for him.

tonight, we might drink it
if joby doesnt mind too much :)

As long as I am drinking someone else's whiskey, I'm happy.

You guys have clams, I think I want to roast up some lil-ben smokies... I heard they're importing some from China at incredibly affordable prices.

ben, can you get laura to bring you down to have happy hour with us again? we need that wit in real life, by jove!

also, recommendations for where to prefunk? a little snack and a little beer sounds fantastic.

edit: is the green room at the showbox any good? seems like it might be worth prefunking there before it is turned into more condos. plus the menu i found online lists a happy hour until 8pm and fried okra and hushpuppies for $2.

Where's prefunk? Someone decide and give me good directions.

I started this post to chastise you for TMI, but then a question occurred to me and for some unholy reason, I could not stop myself from asking it.

You ever done it in the trike?

Duh! It was a level 30 ninja bard assassin. Sheesh.

Oh, and I went home early because I have to swim across the puget sound (WITH MY BIKE!) before I climb three hills and ride 16 miles back home in time for work the next morning.

That was a lot of fun but the last miles in the rain was bullshit.
I woke up drunk and I'm still hungover and that's bullshit.
Racing fatlady carts in QFC was hot but running out of beer at the fire was bullshit.
Smoking someone else's cigarette was bullshit.

See some of you beeches on Sunday and some others on Thursday.

Great ride!
