This is mostly for Dashap and Langston, but should also provide open floor to any clown who wants to whine about how fat tire's not as good as it used to be:
What's the best way to approach New Belgium about getting some kegs donated for a legitimate event? Got a contact?

Every spring I long for New Belgium's Bier de Mars.
They stopped brewing it because they could not brew it consistently.
Any suggestions for a beer that is similar or better than Bier de Mars?

Yeah, New Belgium is all about sponsoring bike-related human-powered style events. They even want to, if people are interested, support a cruiser-bike race as part of the Greenlake Race, with beer prizes for the winner, or make that loser, maybe.
