Maybe he got what was coming to him, maybe he didn't. Wasn't there. Just sayin.

This speaks volumes about your ability to asses the situation.

i can say it: he didn't get what was coming to him. if you're sitting in a car (or carrying a gun or u-lock) and somebody annoys you, you still don't get the right to mete out your own fucking justice. this isn't the wild west, and people who do that kind of shit aren't cool or heroes, they're just antisocial rejects. call the cops on your cellphone.

the fact that you think that he got what was coming to him speaks volumes about your level of socialization.

I thought the guy handled it perfectly. He took a picture of the guys license plate, took a picture of the guy, then dragged his bike back to his apartment and got his other bike and managed to catch up with the Mass about 10 minutes later. I didn't see him get hit, but I talked to him for a bit after he came back...

Yeah, he didn't seem to peeved. The whole thing was avoidable. He should have just let the car pass, there was no good reason to cork the car in the middle of an empty street.

This was my point from the beginning.

I actually wonder how many calls 911 dispatch gets during Mass about "all these bicycles are blocking the street. my god it's some kind of riot!"

LOLcano, was kinda wondering the same thing.

Hey thanks again to the guy who told me, near Elysian Fields, that I'd dropped my glove. Turned around and was promptly at the back of the pack, so couldn't find it, but then found it on the way home later that night, since I knew more or less where to look for it.
