point 83 forums. we're up and live here. no more live journal community for us, we can now live on our web url.

ill be changing around a few visual things here and there, but for the most part this is about how we're going to have things laid out. used a phbb forum that integrated with the server really easy.

ill have HTML turned on, but it will allow more things to be done than with live journal, so be nice with it. if it get's too out of hand we'll just stick with UBB code.

for those that arent too keen on coding, there are easy buttons at the top of these reply windows where you can hit "IMG" and easily add in the address of pictures to post here, ask any questions if you have any trouble, but it's pretty easy if you play with it

we also put together a proper mailing list program, so instead of everything coming direct from jake (who does a kick ass job organizing everything by the way).. it'll now come from a mailing list program that everyone can subscribe onto and subscribe off of at will. im going to have jake mass subscribe everyone from his email list onto it to start with.

but, play around, holler it out if you see any bugs or suggestions.

email notification seems to be currently down, working on turning that back on shortly :)

for now, gotta manual check things

um... my avatar picture is about 6 or 7k, and it appears to be working fine. could that be because it's hosted elsewhere?

if that's the issue, anyone is more than welcome to email their avatar icon to me (torch@thoughtsfromthesugarbowl.com) and i'll host it for them.
