I can go to this! Pre-Georgia Christmas trip.
I'm not sure I SHOULD go, after what I heard about last year's race...and my already scarred face, but I CAN go.

you can always volunteer to help run a checkpoint, if he has any.
im racing, ill see what i can do about getting us matching face wounds. if you dont spend hours with me at the ER, im going to feel like you're not quite giving your all at this relationship :)

The main race last year was more or less crash free. It was the triangular shaped sprint course with sand on the main corner that took people out.

If you're seriously thinking Woodland Park, be forewarned that this is the same day they have the Green Lake Festival of Lights (or whatever it's called - where they stick candles in bags all around the Green Lake path and people stroll among them in peace and harmony).
I'm just saying, if you were thinking of directing people onto the lake path, there will be multiple pedestrian obstacles until at least 8:30pm. Disaster!

Having never attended the 'Festival of Lights', I don't know whether actual fire is actually involved. But it definitely should be.

That is pretty lame.. but how's *this* for lame? For a couple years there, we had the same kinda fake-stinky tree in my building's lobby... and my company is in the business of growing and harvesting real - actual - trees!!! ... sooooperlame.
Someone must have wisened up tho cuz the next year it was a fake but at least non-stinky. And this year we ain't even got a tree yet (budget cuts perhaps)?
Anyway, I'm in, this sounds pretty damn fun.

Need I seriously remind you that Jesus was a Jew...? And he's an alright guy, I guess. I'd definately go to his birthday party.
And I don't know yet if I'm going to this .83 thing, the office Christmas party is the same evening.

True,if slightly hell bent on self destruction...
I'll probably try to catch up with .83 after the office party. When and where does the white elephant exchange happen?
