novara road frame, aluminum. 57cm, vertical drops. not much clearance but it did work with 25mm tires and 70% fenders. comes with a campy mirage front derailleur and dura-ace headset. pretty blue color. - $150

pair of 39-49mm reach campy veloce brake calipers with pads - $30

kelty serrano 3d 0 degree mummy bag, size tall (6'6"). synthetic, warm as hell, comes with a granite gear compression sack that makes it quite packable. fantastic for winter camping. - $90

aileron slx carbon fiber fork
1 1/8, 9.5ish inches of steerer tube (cut for a 58cm with extra room), canti's and disc tabs, star nut installed

i couldnt find much about this brand, dont know if it's low end or high end, found a picture of it on a touring bike:

i had maybe 50 miles on it. had it installed on my jake for a while, then did some touring and had to switch it out for front rackable steel fork. never put it back on.

75 bucks or so if you want it. i paid 125 new. just selling because im never going to use it, im too fucking big for carbon fiber to be realistic.

i also have a 1 inch threaded fork, steel. gray and chrome. definitely used but totally functional. free, or buy me a beer for it if you'd like.

I'll take that free fork; I'm assuming it's for a similar sized bicycle.

Since it appears to be a camping weekend...

Have: Thermarest Guide-lite. It's the mid-thickness, works fine, includes case. It is around 10 years old, but only used 10-15 times because I experiment a lot with gear and have 3 other sleeping pads. $15

Want: One of those bike storage stands that leans against a wall and holds two bikes. I need better bike storage at work and can't install bike hooks here.

I'm game.

Also, I might need to use a few of your tools to fix a rather upsetting creaking somewhere around the BB/crankset area on the Eros.

20?! That's damn skinny. 20mm rims can handle much larger tires.

Oh I know, I haven't really used the wheel for more than a week (read - really need to adjust the cones) and that was on 23s. Also thought it'd be interesting to see if it was possible to get stupid enough to ride on skinny 20s in the rain.

I need a sleeping pad, Is this a self inflating type or closed foam? If it inflates I'll take it!

Anyone have one more pad to sell?

I've got a free standing one, like: http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=24019&subcategory_ID=6600. It's currently taking up space in my garage. Let me know if you're interested.

I'm thinking about selling my Kogswell P/R prototype frame and fork.

59cm, fits like a 57cm from anyone else.
Perrywinkle (some love it, some hate it, I was sort of in the middle).
Your choice of the original matching fork or an ugly grey production fork. The production fork has mid-fork eyelets and is a little lighter, but the paint doesn't match.
Headset included.

$225 to point83 members? I'd probably list it on CL for $275. New ones are $500+

Looks like this when built up into a bike:

or this with the grey fork:

Rack is not included. Wheels and other components not included. Just the frame and fork.

I think this is a nicer ride than the Surly LHT. It is pretty similar in build, but I prefer the handling of a low trail fork, especially if you are going to carry a front load. The bike is mostly built up now and you can try it on for sizing.

I've got a couple folks looking at the whole get-up.

9sp and 10sp shimano are interchangeable so Alex might have you covered.

I just upgraded my Portland to SRAM tonight. Building it up as we speak. Stock parts as noted at http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/bikes/2007/archive/portland, and not selling the brakes. Fair disclosure: the left hand shifter has cosmetic damage on the hoods from getting taken out by a drunk Aaron swerving on a cargo bike.

Obviously, I'm parting with the parts cheap, because I don't need them. Name your price.

Also, Martin, isn't that one of the new Madones? You can't have had that thing more than a year or so...

The 105 shifters off the Portland do double or triple - nice!

Yes, it's a brand new, un-ridden Madone frame/fork and new Mavic. I waranteed my Yellow one after they had a bad run of them that I apparently got a part of. Baby cracks at the BB.

I loved the new Madone, but we are riding Scott Addicts this year (also damn nice). Yay SRAM!

I rode a loaner with SRAM Red on it and I'm completely hooked for three reasons:

- Rival is now a less expensive group than 105
- the SRAM groups are lighter than their equivalent Shimano and Campy equivalents
- the SRAM groups have the direct actuation, which means they shift cleanly even when the cables stretch or get gunky, which is key for a rain bike.
- and most importantly, the double tap shifting is proven to be hilarious to watch with a drunk rider (read: you hobos).

I've since upgraded the 'cross bike from 105/Ultegra to Force, and the Madone to Red. The Portland is the last to go.

True at the groupset level. Rival is now virtually identical to Force with three exceptions:

1. Non Carbon crank
2. Non Carbon shift paddle
3. Non Carbon rear derailleur cage

Part of their brilliance is the re-use of parts across groups keeping their tooling pricing down. Even their packaging uses mostly the same boxes across their line.

Oh - and the Powerdome RED cassette is AWESOME.

I need to verify that I still have it and check the condition. I'm thinking around $35-40ish.
