I'm looking to offload my Trek 760. 56cm seat tube and top tube. It's a 1984, straight and true with original paint (chipped in places, some bits of decals missing, etc. 6/10). Lugged with Reynolds 531c tubes and campy drop-outs. (The '84 catalog says it should be 531P, but the sticker on the bike says 531c and without cutting the bike apart I can't confirm either)

This rides really, really well. I'd never have believed 23mm tires at 100psi could feel so good.

It is currently built up and can be test ridden, though I'm still debating on if I want to sell it complete or just the frame/fork/headset or with some combination of parts from my basement.

Here's a pic of it with fenders:

With 23mm tires the fenders worked, but clearance was tight and everything had to be perfectly aligned.

Man, that looks good. I'm almost talking myself out of selling it, but I bought Larry's 720 so something has to go.

Original catalog page:
http://www.vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1984Racing.htm#page8

Also, tubing info:
http://www.vintage-trek.com/images/trek/84Trek_2.jpg

Geometry:

$220 for the frame/fork/headset

You've got first dibs. Complete rig would be something like this:

In the picture above:
frame/fork
105 headset
Dura-Ace 7700 9-speed downtube shifters (indexed or friction)
Dura-ace hubs with Mavic Open4 CD rims (8-speed era hubs, I think?)
Ultegra 6500 12-25 cassette
Shimano R-600 compact double crankset and BB (170mm) 50/34
no-name micro-adjust seatpost
Custom quill stem (SR?)
Vittoria Diamante Pro tires
Ultegra 6600 short-cage RD
Shimano 600 "arabesque" FD
No-name caliper brakes

Not pictured but will be installed(I'm going to keep what is pictured):
Nitto Randonneur bars (I've got both 42 and 45cm to choose from)
Tektro R200 brake levers (Campy-shape hoods)
no-name saddle
el crapito pedals

$500

Also, some stuff that could be swapped onto the Trek for a different build, or sold separately:

Dura-Ace 7402 short-cage RD (8-speed era?)
105 5600 short-cage RD

Ultegra 6500 brake calipers

105 (9speed era) hubs /Mavic cxp-22 ceramic rims.

Nitto Randonneur bars in 42cm and 45cm (25.4)
Ritchey WCS bars 44cm black. Not "anatomic", but not exactly traditional either.

Dura-Ace 9speed bar-end shifter (right/rear only)
Traitor white single-ring crank
Traitor white 90mm stem (25.4)
Traitor white 27.2 seatpost

Sugino Super Maxy 110 bcd crankset 52/40 rings, square-taper.

Truvativ Elita road triple, silver, ISIS bb, 52/39/30 rings.
Sakae SA 130/74bcd road triple with oval 52/42/32 rings. 165mm arms.

Cane creek crosstop brake levers 25.4 or 26.0. black

basic shimano 28.6 clamp triple front derailleur.

threadless stems:
100mm silver Thomson stem (25.4) 15deg.
100mm black Thomson x2 stem (31.8) 10deg.
90mm black Thomson x4 stem 31.8 10deg.
90mm black Thomson stem 25.4 5deg
90mm black Ritchey Pro stem 26.0 17deg.

I've got a spare Chris King Devolution conversion kit if anyone needs one. For getting that 1inch threadless fork into your 1.125inch CK headset. Baseplate, bearing cap, stemcap, and screw.

Will trade for $20 or a two pints and nacho kit.

dibs. My size 30 woolies are way to small, a joke really, and are already getting threadbare in only their second winter.

jesus christ. two years ago i bought a silver iro track crankset. they've never been fully mounted as they do not fit the spindle of my bb. 130 bcd, 170mm, comes with a 46t chainring.

i don't want them. i know no one rides fixed anymore. name your price/whiskey. for the love of god, get these the fuck out of my way.

love,
leah

p.s, the chainring says, "you only need one," which i think is hilarious. really, you only need none.

I'll buy your RB-1 for $250. Then you have a camera, your snowboard shit, and $50. And I have a little, tiny, awesome bike.

I've got too many tires. Two of them are a set of Continental Speed Kings that came off my 'cross bike the season before last. They're 700x35mm knobbies. They're not a great mud tire, but they're good on "friendly" dirt. Mine are the wire beaded, Taiwanese-made version. I think they're 60tpi, but couldn't say for sure. They're in pretty good shape, since I mostly rode that bike off-road and put a different tire on midway through the season.

I could use a set of cheap 700c slicks or one nice one in trade. But if you need the tires and don't have something like that, that's cool too - I also need the space on my shelf.

I also have a spare set of Shimano Alivio shifters for a 3x8 drivetrain.

Everything in these photos:
http://www.dropbox.com/gallery/3122224/1/Stuff%20I%27m%20Selling?h=da22fe

In a nutshell, it's a 3 burner propane BBQ (comes with cover and 1 propane canister!), a bunch of tiki torches, two hibachis, a knife block, a shitty coffee table, an awesome AV rack, and a LoveSac.

Knife block, coffee table, all tiki torches, and both hibachis are free. Prices on everything else are negotiable but I'll probably treat you nice if I know/like you.

I am interested in one of the hibachi's, the tiki torches, and the knife block.

Possibly the larger propane grill.

Assuming they are still available. PM with details to be sent shortly.

I keep getting flagged on Craigslist for trying to give this away. It's a padded zipper bag for holding breakable glass tubes. What you do with those tubes is your business, you damn hippies. I can bring it Tuesday or Thursday or you can meet me on Capitol Hill near Broadway anytime.

jeff or ben, I'll sponsor your drinking for thursday's ride for the bag. I prefer green, but also like herpes.
