It is in nearly new or new condition, it hasn't left my basement on a bike ride. The color is tan:
$80 to point83 members who I've seen on a ride (I'll post it for $90 on CL). That's a lot easier than waiting for a bag to show up on Acorn's site.
It's really what I'd call small/medium. I can fit my hammock and my sleeping bag into it for camping, but I already have a similar sized Rivendell Little Joe bag.
Acorn stuff is very well made, this is no exception.
Worn once but you'd never know except I just told you. I've got the original IBEX box and plastic wrap but no hang tag.
MSRP is $135 but I'll let it go to a .83 member I know for a cool $83.

Wheelsmith 2.0 x 282mm Silver Spokes. Bag of 50. I paid $25, make me an offer.
These would fit a 36H Alfine hub laced to a 700c Alex Adventurer. I thought they would also fit the same parts in 32H. Nope - need 288's. TIL.

Selling my '07 Kawasaki Ninja (technically it's a bike so I figured someone here might be interested). Clean, modded, 50-80 mpg, regularly maintained, fast and fun! PM me for details.

it seems like a nice bike. but he's moving to london and i've been informed that if i decide to ride motorcycles i will be put down for my own good.
i also have his 57cm scott tinley trilite for sale. it's a nice, light road bike but built up a little quirkily - lance armstrong style with a downtube shifter for the front and a brifter for the rear. point83 price $200, and i'll even tune it up for you.

i've been wanting one of those for quite a while. haven't gotten an endorsement yet though. unfortunately i can't justify the 3k expense right now. but i'd make an exception for 1k

The baby-blue bike I fixed up is on the block again. Heather (ifaey) has decided that while it was shiny, she was able to resist its charms.
Price: $200 - just wanna make back the money spent on new parts, plus a little extra for the work.
All the nitty gritty:
League Fuji
Some frame dimensions - 20.5" seatpost (52cm), center of crank to top, approx. 20.75" top tube, from center to center.
Lapree shifters, derailleurs and hubs.
Stronglight Super Comp headset, still very smooth
Dia Compe brakes & levers
Sugino RT 165mm cranks, 52/42
Mavic front rim, Ukai rear
Nitto stem and Nitto Olympiade handlebars
'Feather' Saddle
6 speed rear freewheel
Color: metallic baby blue
Condition of the paint is OK - there's light scuffing on the chainstays and the fork, and the decals are worn a bit as well.
Comes with a pretty vintage looking Greg's Greenlake water bottle.
New parts to replace old parts when I cleaned it:
1)new KMC x8.93 chain
2)New Jaggwire stainless brake and shifter cables
3)New cable housing
4)New Continental Tubes
5)New brake hoods
5)Used Panasonic Panaracer Pasela White tires 700x28
Caveats: Front hub feels smooth, but doesn't spin freely. When I repacked the bearings, the cups and caps felt smooth with no grooving, so i'm not sure what's going on with that. Otherwise, there's no wobble of the axle in the hub, so maybe it's cranked down too hard onto the bearings?

Hi guys long tome no see. My girlfriend is selling her 57cm Duct bike Gazelle Toer Popular Lady and I figured I would put it here before craigslist. The bike is still showroom and has been ridden twice likely less than ten miles total. It is a beautiful bike, a work of art really but it just isnt the right bike for her.
Beacause you are cool Point 83 price is $900 as it will be going on craigslist for more.
Trades may also be considered
You can get ahold of me at 2O62398763 or trawadams at Yahoo.com

TL/DR: Retro mountain bike, Midge bars, Deore XT group, black and pink.
You need a mud bike in your stable before it starts getting muddy, right? This retro-styled drop-bar mountain bike is a blast to ride but is just too small for me so it should go.
Point83, if I know your face let's call it $250. WIll be going on Craigslist for higher.
FRAME: Univega Alpina Uno LX, made in Japan by Miyata, probably 1988. Triple butted chromoly tubing, double eyelets at the dropouts, rear rack mounts and fender mounts on the bridges, two sets of of bottle bosses. Spare spoke holder on right chainstay loaded with correct spare spokes. Decals were torn up so I removed them while touching up the paint. Speaking of the paint, it is a very butch black with pink spackles, and I built it up all matchy-matchy. You are nostalgic for 1989? I thought so.
COCKPIT: On-One Midge bars, Tektro drop-bar V brake levers, Ultegra bar end shifters. If you are a fan of off road drop bars this is probably why you're reading this ad. If you're wondering why put drop bars on a mountain bike, give this a read: http://www.mtbtires.com/features/bikes/why_dropbars.html
SIZING: 21"/54cm seat tube, with a 23"/58cm top tube. While the bars add some reach, the super-riser stem with the slack head angle takes it right back. You might like it of you ride a 58 or 60 cm road frame.
Drivetrain: All DeoreXT M737/M739. Cranks are 5-arm, 175mm, 20/32/42 rings. Cassette is 8 speed 11-30.
Brakes: DeoreXT M739 V-brakes with parallelogram linkage
Wheels: Handbuilt, Deore LX rear, Deore front, 32 black Wheelsmith double-butted spokes, Sun CR-18 rims. pink nipples, except for black brass nipples for drive-side rear. Reflective pink dots on the rims.
Saddle: WTB Rocket V with pink embroidery.
Tires: WTB Velociraptor 2.1
Other stuff: Fully sealed Jagwire kevlar-wrap cables with pink housing, high rise stem with steel quill. New Ritchey Logic headset. The seatpost binder is a "Cool Tool" which doubles as a hex wrench, and there's a second Cool Tool with a chain tool hidden in the bottom of the seatpost. I'm throwing on some generic platforms with Powergrips. If you want the SPD's pictured they're $15.
Everything has been tuned up and the bike is ready to ride today.

This http://www.flickr.com/photos/eleezardbeth/6124640685/in/photostream lives with me, but it is time for it to move out. I was thinking of going to the trouble of selling it, but I wonder if someone here would like to take it home and shine it up and love it.
Someone short. I'm 5'6" and it is maddeningly small for me.
You can ask me intelligent questions about it, but I'm pretty sure my answer will be a confused stare. Sorry.

I have a friend who is below your height. I'll ask her if she's looking for a bike. That one would clean up pretty nice, I think.

For free - an old pair of Performance panniers. They're big and waterproof and still have some life left in them.

$25 for a pair of ORTLIEB bucket panniers, optimized for a Tubus Cargo Rack (700c)
These were fruit of one of many many random winter bike projects but I never got around to using them.
I'm selling them for the price of the Ortlieb hardware.

Andre, I'm interested as hell but I live in a small condo. I assume those buckets don't stack anymore due to the orlieb mods?

Jon, I've got a supply of fresh buckets, so you could buy these and then pull the hardwear for use with new buckets and keep them stackable and optimized for whatever rack you have.
Alternately, I call dibs if Jon doesn't want them.

I just swapped out the Alex Adventurers after 400 miles (wanted fatter rims for the 60mm tires).
So I have one 32H and one 36H, both 700C x 24mm wide, eyeletted, black, machined sidewall Alex Adventurers. They're in fine shape, "never raced". Paid $25 ea, name your price.
I've still got these spokes too!

These would fit a 36H Alfine hub laced to a 700c Alex Adventurer.

Hey you guys!
Selling my MacBook, satin black model.
I upgraded to a MacBook Pro and just don't need the extra laptop anymore.
Specs:
13.3 inch glossy screen
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 Gb 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM (expandable to 8 Gb)
250 Gb HD
Integrated Nvida GeForce 320M graphics, 256 MB memory (shared)
Internal, slot loading Mac SuperDrive optical drive
All the other bits and goodies that these excellent machines come loaded with (AirPort, internal camera, FireWire...)
This computer also comes with a quality InCase padded soft case. It is pretty minimal, but thicker than most soft cases and has pockets with plenty of space for the charger, and external HD and some CD or docs. It also comes with the charger (a little dirty and scuffed up from getting kicked around the floor a bit) and the dongle for external VGA video use.
This computer was lightly used and mainly used as a desktop. Rarely traveled off the desk, no scratches on screen or body, never dropped or abused in any way. A pampered machine in pristine condition minus a little dirt and fingerprints from basic use. The battery has been well taken care of (allowed to fully discharge regularly and never left with the charger plugged in for extended periods) and still lasts plenty long with DVDs playing and/or wifi running. My iStat system diagnostic utility rates it at 88% health.
Currently running my own install (cleaned of personal info and documents) of MacOS 10.5.8, or I can put on a fresh install of Leopard (10.5) which is cheap and easy to upgrade to Lion.
The easy-cheesy point83 price is $500. Commengettit.
Email or PM me with any questions you have about the laptop or sale.
Rawland dSogn frame/fork in ML size (56-58cm ish equivalent) $300
Bike is still assembled as shown so available for test rides. Light nicks here or there, no dents.
It'll fit 29x2.0 tires without fenders, or 700x45 with fenders.
If you really wanted to buy the whole bike or most of the assembled bike we could also discuss that. For now though none of the parts are for sale until the frame goes.

There's some other stuff I want to buy, so time to clear out a bin or two. If you recognize anything here that I originally got from you you can have it back for whatever our original transaction price was if not cheaper.
Take at least $5 off if I know you, anything listed at $5 or cheaper consider free.
If you don't want to click a bunch of links just go look at all ths stuff posted near midnight Tuesday night in Crown Hill.
