It was a close race between Jimmy's email to me and Jeff's PM, but Jeff won by about 2 minutes. Sorry Jimmy! I wish I had 3 or 4 sets of wheels to sell based on on-forum traffic and people asking in IM.

Oh, I forgot the actual expensive item.
We are selling Christine's car. 2006 Forester XT Limited. It is a Forester with a WRX engine (around 235hp, you can look up the stats). 50k miles. Leather, huge sunroof, loud stereo, heated seats, all of the features. Fuel economy is around 20 city, 25 highway...low for us, so we bought a Jetta TDI. Ping me if you are interested (I'm not really expecting anyone to be), I haven't posted a CL ad yet and still need to figure out the asking price (16k range). Point83 members get Yakima roof rack and a skid plate included.
We are still part of the point83 lesbaru club, our other car is one.

The title says $200 but let's save us both time and say you talked me down to $175. So $175 firm, but you don't get to haggle. If you want to bargain then just pretend I'm asking $200 for it.
LOL.

One Shimano Deore XT FM-M770 Freehub (36h, no disc mounting) (new in box!) -- $30
Both prices are "or make me a goddamned offer."

I also failed to mention that they will give you the power of invisibility.

I'm selling my D40 camera, 18-55mm lens kit, original box and original plus additional accessories, asking $400
Pictures of it here
I don't know if I would call Ken Rockwell the Sheldon Brown of cameras (though Sheldon was into cameras too) but he has a ton of write ups on camera systems (Mainly Nikon DSLRs and Canon P&S). Rockwell couldn't stop praising the D40 and he has a free user guide that I found real helpful. He loves the S90 too but they are different cameras that excel at different things.
Anyways I'm asking $400. Point83 buyers (whom I met) get access to some additional accessory like a wireless remote, extra battery and charger and an SD card that I wouldn't throw in for CL buyers.
Again, pictures of it here

57cm Nishiki Olympic 12 frame, fork, seatpost, crankset, shifters, calipers, headset, cable hangers, etc. (NO fenders even though they're in the pic). Paint is scuffed and has a small chip or 2 but otherwise in good shape, no dents. Designed for 27" wheels, brakes currently set up for 700c wheels. 700x40c tires will fit, maybe 700x42 if they're not knobbies.
Seatpost is aluminum 26.4. Brakes are centerpull somethingorothers.
Cranks are a Sugino double 144 bcd, 170mm arms. Set up as shown single 42T ring and a chainguard. Fairly narrow Q, haven't measured it though.
I'll have to double check the shifters when I get home. I believe theyr'e ratcheting friction-y Suntours.
Was Mike D's.
(everything shown except fenders and chain)
$75

You can pick the width, 126mm, 130mm, 132mm, 135mm. $100 to point83 members that I've met before. These wheels have about 3-4k miles on them.

Sorta the end of an era...
After much deliberation, I have decided that I do not have the adequate time and space to keep the Kelly in my possession. She's too nice, and needs to be ridden more than I can give it. The bike is in excellent shape, I've only gotten the chance to really ride her 4 or so times.
I bought her in 2007 for ~$1500 from the second owner, the first being Chris Kelly himself (he originally welded the frame for himself right before his shop/company was shut down for a while in `06). Its the RoShamBo single-speed, 29er model. The geometry on the frame is fantastic, built around a true non-suspension-corrected geometry which makes for a significantly more connected and solid ride.
Spec highlights:
Phil Wood SS hubs (black)
OX platinum tubeset, eggplant purple powder coat size M
XT cranks, brakes, levers
billet machined Control Tech stem, post, bars
Oury Lock-on grips
32T Salsa front ring
So, that's the story. I would like to sell it simply and locally to someone who'll give her the dirt she needs. I've got simple Kona flat petals I could throw in there as well to get her rolling ASAP.
Point83 price, $1,100.

This is not bicycle related:
Older DW5000 bass drum pedal. Did I ever tell you about the time i played drums in a Blink182 cover band? It was a short-lived project.
I can't guarantee the bed will get you laid but I can guarantee anybody who sleeps a night in it will make excuses to get back into it.
Likewise no guarantee on the table, but it'll take the rigors of what you might do to anybody you can heft atop it.
Pointy3 dirtbag pricing in effect.

I'd like to sell my somewhat-beloved Trek 420 bike; it's tall--24"--and has 27" wheels.
Could use some TLC, but other than that, rides just great. $132.70 takes the whole bike; I'd sell everything but the cockpit (that is, without handlebars, stem, brake levers, and shifters) for 73.27.

Lee, I will give you $100american dollars, and an ice cream sandwich. Done deal. When can I pick it up?
but it's true. barely ride the ol' girl anymore. maybe you know a person? make a local deal happen, things get more negotiable.
I'm pimping this bike on the internet for you, so that I have no temptation to spend my review bonus on it. Cool bike, just not one I'd ride much either.

Selling my Pugsley frame and fork. I know, many never even knew I had it - I was building it as a secret. Oh well. Never built, all prepped and ready to go. I'm asking $450 on CL. I'll be durn lucky to get $400. I'll swing a deal if someone here wants it, but really I'm looking to generate cash to cover some bills so... yeah. Make me an offer.
Mine's an 18" but as stated in the ad any shop with a QBP account can RMA it - usually for the cost of a six pack, and shipping back and forth. I should know - I bought a brand new grey 2008 Pugsley frame and fork off CL around Christmas, sent Surly an email about it. Aarons did the RMA. They sent me a new model in the size I wanted. Recycled or Counterbalance or Dutch Bikes or Free Range can do it too. Pick your poison.
Sorry Lee, not to undercut your Pugsley sale here.

hunh. No 135mm front fork. No Canti studs. But interesting they think there's market enough to step in the ring.

Erm. Says the fork on the Mukluk, is the Enabler, which is 135. But not offset.
It seems to make up for lack of canti bosses with fork water bottle bosses, low-rider bosses, and double front eyelets. But then they went and used a 170mm rear hub, so no swapping front and rear wheels. Oh, also has replaceable derailleur hanger, but that means vertical dropouts vs. The Pugsley's track ends.
I guess they decided they should at least be a bit different than the Surly, I'm curious how they'll sell vs. each other.
