Central Cinema serves beer and food. There will be a raffle to benefit Bikeworks, and should be a good time. Macaframa may mainly appeal to the trickster track bike crowd, but the video quality is great, and anyway, it is about bikes.
I realize that it's on a ride night, but the theater was booked for the weekend, sorry.
Oh, and there are seats for 120 at the theater. So it may sell out. I would suggest buying your tickets early.

Maybe somebody has a torrent of it, but I know the makers are trying to keep a pretty tight leash on it so it doesn't leak. My thought; is that the music involved will be very difficult to get rights to. That might make it really difficult to get it to DVD. This may be your only chance to see it. Maybe not. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.
And the NYCBIkesnob review.... I couldn't figure out if he hated it or loved it. It seemed like it just "was". So if you like fixed gear tricks, come out. Or if you like Bikeworks. Or beer. If you aren't riding the Point83 ride, or at the movie, then I guess do something else.

can i point out that on the cover picture above, they aren't actually riding bikes? the hill looks too steep for them. i find that chuckle worthy.
