Hey everyone, i'll be spending the holidays in Bellevue and wanted to get some riding done. I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand mountain bike, does anyone here selling theirs or know of a friend who's selling? Also i've read about I-5 Colonnade, is it a good spot?
Hope to hear from you guys! Cheers

You should come out on a Tuesday or Thursday ride, or hell come out for Slow Sunday or something until post_count < miles_ridden.

how bout we turn down the dickness to newcomers.
it's the giving season.
as far as fella's questions go:
i ain't go no, i'd check the all powerful craigslist.
i-5 is, um, interesting. it's really nothing more than a trick park for hucksters with 37 inches of suspension. check out st. ed's.

Geeze Ben, I didn't even suggest he go fuck himself or anything. And as far as the Bellevue comment I was sincere.
I was also sincere about coming out for the rides, as I'd think they're a lot more fun than riding an unfamilar bike on MTB stuff alone.

As far as the bike, unless he posts his vague size I doubt he'll get any useful answers.

There's actually more to the I-5 Colonnade than just the freeride stunts now. But unless you're into that thing, there are better places to ride in the Seattle area.
Ditto on the size for a used mountain bike thing. It makes a big difference. If you're looking for used, you can try your luck with Craigslist, but if you want to see what you're getting, Recycled Cycles can probably help you out more. They're down in the U-District.
One last thing: Point83 is mostly a road-riding club. If you show up on a mountain bike, you're likely to get dropped off the back. If you're looking for MTB riding, we do a little, but Evergreen is probably the crew for you.

The general rule of thumb is that the chances of getting dropped increase proportionately with how late it is and how drunk everyone is.
