The Boy Scouts on Bainbridge are collecting the community's trees. I say we invite them.
1. They've got a ton of Christmas Trees.
2. Boy Scouts are good at starting fires.
3. Boy Scouts have a bicycling merit badge, so we can totally write this off as helping them get a merit badge
4. I am SO not kidding about this.
5. Boy Scouts are always prepared, and therefore already in compliance with the TOS.
6. They probably know where a couple of firepits are on Bainbridge that we don't know about.

I doubt I'm the only scout here, and I can tell you that there is no chance under the sun the BSA will sign off on this plan.

Yeah, there's not enough mormons, there's not enough insurance, there's not enough self-important old men with no lives, and, there's no kid-touchers!

I'm gonna go out on a flimsy limb and say the Boy Scouts aren't gonna want to have a weenie roast with a drunken bike club that posts pictures of mule cock on their message board.

on blake island last summer we scared away a kayaking pile of boy scouts by describing our love for wild rowdy alcohol fueled parties. a naked blow up doll watched the conversation closely from a nearby picnic table.

Note: that's not an obscene gesture, nor a faux gang sign, I'm making there... that's the actual Boy Scout Sign.
Well I suppose you could call it a "gang sign" depending on yer definition of such.
