The Gear of Time turns and Ages come and go, leaving memories that become legend. Lengend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth returns again. In the Third Age, an Age of Prophecy, the World and Time themselves hang in the balance.
What is is, what was, was, and what will be, you need to fucking make.
2009. Time for new spoke cards, and as always in January you make them, then we vote on them.

small suggestion
alter the "we ride" to go vertically and in green block type like "the smiths" and it'll be perfect
I like the "cheezeburger" edit, made me bust out loud

2.)
or, better proportions
3.)
(I took Jeffs cue and consolodated the others).
I only planned one side because double sided can be a pain in the ass.

Well, I guess thanks for asking. You could have just snagged a similar image, 'shopped it and stuck it up as your own. While making this spoke card, I had a thought about doing a whole deck of .83 cards. But that would be kind of a big project.
um, so, yeah, if you want to use my royalty free idea, that's okay with me.
since there seems to be a few designers floating around here, we could even have different people design different cards. It might be easier to do just one suit, instead of all 52 cards.
Derrick should totally design the joker.

Dibs on the ten of spades. create a series of templates for people to self edit, then have people email the .tiffs back to Derrick to print.

The only problem is, I can foresee some serious thematic and curatorial nightmares with a project like this. So i'll wait to hear back from the .83 spoke card subcommittee before getting started.
