Hey, here's a link to my photos from my cross-country trip through the southern states of the US. I'm in Phoenix now, and the photos include my train ride down to SF and LA, and my bike ride from LA to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and everything in between, which is a whole lot of nothing sometimes.

I love that you are rocking a mud flap babe. Classic. I like the documentation of roadside litter (or not in the case of the ipod).
Other random thoughts:
- Glad to see the slingshot is in full effect.
- The waterfall urinal is odd, especially at a gas station!
- Enjoy the pictures. Keep 'em coming & in the meantime, have fun.

I too enjoyed the detritus of folks riding on through to actually populated places.

I've since writting something about the iPhone on flickr. Turns out it was a 16GB 3G iPhone that worked just fine when I charged the battery. I've returned it to the owner, who lost it in November when he pulled over to switch drivers on the way to Las Vegas. It would have been nice to have wifi on my trip though...

More photos are up. Everything from Phoenix, AZ to Alamogordo, NM, where I am now. Wishing I had that iPhone since my phone just broke.

More photos uploading now from Mississippi. Mardi Gras/New Orleans pics are included, but don't really show much; you kinda have to be there to see how crazy it is.

The armadillo shots are so cool - I've never seen one in the wild.
