So I know we're all excited about Obama, but I think Jimmy Carter deserves another look. Legalized home-brewing, supported environmental reforms, and still rides a bike as transportation.

I had a chance to meet President Carter when the Academy held a congratulatory dinner/lecture after he won the Nobel Prize. He seemed like an okay dude, I mean as much as you can figure from a thirty minute dinner.

His Rivendell (in that photo) wasn't stolen. It was a Specialized hybrid that was stolen. Carter owns multiple bikes, just like most of us.
