The Redmond finally came trough and delivered my $50 Visa gift card (to thank me for bicycling to work 50 times). I was gunna buy Gas for my truck, but I've decided it would be more appropriate to buy Bicycle fuel.
So, this Thursday, the first $50 of Beer and Nachos is on the City of Redmond.

I tried doing some program that Seattle was offering like that, and I had to be a current car driver to be eligible. Needless to say, I thought that was weak, considering I've been carless and been commuting by bike for close to four years now; they didn't seem to think that was beneficial enough to kick me down anything.
But great job Joby! Congrats!

I still cheer for you Mike!
I heard of someone putting a parking meter out in front of a store with a sign on it accepting donations to a charity. How about mounting it in front of my bike shop with all the money it collects going to Bike Works? Do you have a key?
I am going to fast and not drink anything (not even water) so I am totaly thirsty and hungry for that Redmond beer and Nachos.
Also I will be handing out a secret surprise safety gift from one of our riders who wishes to remain anonymous. I am going to add to the gift. This Thursday is going to be gift night I guess.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday.

ya. i have a key for it.
when i first got it my coworkers put 50 cents in it. then i put an "out of order" sign on it because i got tired of them parking their asses in my cubicle.
when can you come to city hall and get it? it is 30-40 lbs. maybe more.
