Apparently not all pawn shop folks are shady as an oak tree.
The shop owner called the cops when he ran the serial numbers and they showed up stolen. The dude was arrested for trying to sell stolen merchandise. They should get them back on Tuesday. Apparently they are complete and intact.
He was asking $75 per bike. Unfortunately for him, since the value was over $500 per bike, that makes it a felony- Grand Theft.

Epic fail!

The moral of the story is this: Save receipts for new bikes, and record/photograph serial numbers for all bikes. If Kerry and Felix hadn't, they wouldn't have gotten the bike back.

I actually realised today that I didn't have serials for two of my bikes. Thanks for the reminder.

Holy Shite!
White Scott now this. There is justice.

I see the pink bike every Wednesday at Tulley's when my son and I are on the way to the Ballard Library story time.

Yeah I said it -- story time.

You mean there is forgiveness, not justice. White Scott left his shit unlocked, and these dudes locked their precious rides together as I understand it. Both were dumbfuck moves.

Not that I'm above making dumbfuck moves, just sayin.
