I'm thinking about doing a 19-mile loop tomorrow (like 11am) to get my legs in the proper frame of mind (frame of leg?) for Sunday's race. It would start and end at Red Square, cross the Montlake Bridge and follow some of the South Lake Washington loop, then go up and over Yesler to Alaskan Way and go north to the Burke via the Myrtle-Edwards, then return to Red Square.

The idea is to get in a few good efforts on the climb and the early flat road sections, then take a break along Yesler and maybe Alaskan Way, then a few more sprints on the Myrtle-Edwards if it's empty and 20th Ave/Gilman, and with plenty of chill-out miles along the Burke so as not to leave us sore for beating one another up on Bainbridge Island.

Anyone in? I'm doing the ride regardless, but if some people speak up, I'm totally happy to have some company.

Structured Pre-race ride for FHR? SRSLY?

I heard Jamie and the GIN boys will be attending. Good luck.

I figure if I'm going to say I'm racing, I may as well. I haven't done speed work since November, but I do have some real races coming in April and it never hurts to practice the whole routine for a race weekend.

So... Half SRSLY? I'll probably try to do a long ride on Monday too.
