there at 7 with badass presale pass. Manned the ABR table for an hour after in opened, then peaced out. Deals at the bike swap, yes. Better deals before it opens as guys get set up, and first pick through everything. I got loot!

I got fucked, I lost my wallet on the ride to the fremont bridge. I walked out with $1 bar tape and a bottle of water.

i got fucked too.

see that kid with the red and white cyclocross frameset walking around virtually the whole swap?... trying to trade for something that fit him? yeah, that was me.

i am the worst hustler in the world. should have stayed at home with my broke ass and not made it any broker.

rule one of hustling: when you buy a frame you know is too big because it's in good shape and only 50 bucks, don't tell everyone that you just bought it for 50 bucks.

i guess this isn't as fucked as losing your wallet on the bridge but even though i did it to myself i was pretty inwardly pissed coming home.

after all is said and done i was really happy that i got a ridiculous seven cycles ceramic fork (i'm nicknaming it deathfork), deda pista bars, some risers i won't feel bad chopping, and some trial bull horns that will look sweet wrapped in one dollar bar tape. my plan is to get a nice track frame painted white or pearl and put the black bars and fork on it.

that fucking serotta made me want to cry and die in a corner.

and this is gonna out me as a really pathetic sour bastard, but does it make anyone else furious when people sell slightly used bikesdirect bikes for FULL SHIPPED PRICE...?

i swear if i see another used kilo TT with a 350 dollar price tag i'mma puke, unless it's wearing zipps.

I saw Devin on the BGT on my way to the Bike Swap Saturday afternoon. Trailer and kid in tow. By the time I got there, they had packed up for the day. I'm guessing it was picked over by that point.
