The snowball is a variation on the points race where only the first finisher in the sprints is awarded any points. The number of points awarded increases with each sprint. In the case of a tie, the order of the final sprint is used to break the tie.

Point-a-Lap

Tempo
The tempo race is similar to the point-a-lap race except that points are awarded two deep for each lap (two points for the first rider, one point for the second).

Will there be snowballing?

Also, will I be able to get points for keeping tempo? Because I'd be willing to go two-deep if I'm getting credit for it.

I've always thought that the Greenlake Race should be a Madison, but only because I want to see two drunks on LHTs try to do the relay exchange.

We'll be explaining the exact rules we're using on the day of. But I'll tell you now that it won't be a devil takes the slowest asshole. It also won't be a snowball, that's sick. We're hoping that the endurance aspect will even the playing field.

I'll post it up here when we announce the course. But it will be up at BikeBloc.com first.

I'm also going to make a point83 specific flier. You'll like it, you'll see.

So we've finally announced the location for the race. We'll be doing the laps around Cowen Park. Registration will be at 2, we'll race at 3! A Point83 specific flier is on its way.

Alley Rally was one of the most fun races ever. Even if i did end up in a mini skirt riding around the Ave on a 20 degree night.

Yeah its you riding a donkey, it was going to be switched, but then I realized that I didn't want that kind of attention from the zoophelia community. It would really be zoophelia crossed with hentai, which one would think is a pretty small niche, but with Enumclaw being so close and all, I didn't want to chance it.

Also there is a glasses clad man with a u-lock in the background.

I had to work; I meant to go but couldn't make it nor inform Ben within time. This made me sad.

It is my understanding that your race had pictures or it didn't happen. Correct?

If you want to take the velodrome class, here's the info. Not sayin' it is better than this race... just sayin' it is different.

The Marymoor Velodrome Association track classes are an opportunity to personally experience the thrill of track cycling in a fun and safe environment. Completion of a track class is required before you can race any race at The Marymoor Velodrome. Pre-season racing will start in mid-May.

The MVA track class is taught in a single four-hour session on a Saturday or Sunday or two 2.5-hour Friday sessions.
The first classes are this Friday and this Saturday!

Fees: The fee for the MVA Track Class is $50 and includes a loaner track bike for the class as well as entry in two Thursday Night race sessions [NOTE: Bicycles are not provided for Thursday Night racing sessions, but they may be rented.] The class fee for youth riders (under 18) is $10. All fees must be paid in advance of the class to confirm reservation.
