As of 2001, the new Washington State Ferry manual of standard procedures now clearly states
If a passenger/crewmember finds a bag unattended on a ferry -> call out bomb squad
If a passenger/crewmember finds a bike unattended on a ferry -> call out search and rescue team
Got an email today from a WSF subcontractor that handles the Bicycle Surcharge Exemption program. Asked if I was the (potentially) overboard bicyclist.
How should I reply? Tee hee.
