hitching rides just south of there, I got picked up by some heroin attics, then I got picked up by this couple that gave me a sourdough jack and a really sharp machete. they gave me heebie jeebies about the tarantulas and boars. it was a good thing none wandered into me...maybe. that ride was sweet. when I got over the shwing sound pulling it out of the case I just left it in this falling apart adobeish house. the nights get cold.

It's a great place for a ride. Stanglor and I rode there a few years back. Lots of wind at times, not a lot of water out there.

Yup, lots of wind and no water. You have to carry water up a big ol' hill. If you ever go through this park by bike, I recommend the 29 Palms entrance, not the Josha Tree, CA entrance. Better hill, less traffic.

As my French uncle likes to say: "Leave the water for the ducks. Drink wine!"
