I think he's doing free beer and giveaways and stuff. They are giving away a Yuba Mundo bike. I don't really know what the intent is, but he wanted me to post it here.

Can we do this if we're not going to the ALA conference?

Yeah - I'm pretty sure it's just a bike ride to a bar after the event. In fact - I want to say that the "social" is the day before the ALA thing. I'm not going to either.

This is on day 2 of ben country, for the calendar-challenged. Maybe we should all roll up as one hungover, unwashed crew back from Whidbey!

See that's what I was hoping for, unwashed bike camp .83 punks showing up to the ride; preferably totally hung over looking for more free beer.

No you don't have to attend An Event Apart -- that show is in town and we're going there the next day. Lots of those geeks ride and will join us.

The intent is a bike culture ride in Seattle to Southpark where we'll tap a keg at Schooner Exact -- then giveaway some schwag and a Yuba Mundo.

It's both at the same time with some browser talk on top of it, like the crunchy nuts on top of a Peanut Butter Parfait.
