Are we incorporated yet? If we were a non-profit we could use beer donations as a tax write-off.

Oh yeah I'm coming by the way.

I don't care what we call it. Call it the Snuffalufagous Film Fest for all I care.

Ben Country 4.0 - Hoopleheads and Cocksuckers

I'm re-watching Deadwood lately, that's all I can come up with. I'll be there, I don't want to miss this crew bombing down the Speedway to the ferry.

in +1 (probably).

Unless we tandem, the +1 might need a spot in the shaggin' waggon. Let me know if this is a problem and we will figure something out.

Also, I am on a kibbutz in the upper galilee and miss my bikes something fierce.

This is all.

What days is Ben Country? I don't see it in the thread anywhere.

And where did the calendar go? The mainpage redirects to the forum now.

Is there still a need for a support vehicle? I have a CR-V with roof rack. If someone has a bike rack to toss on the back I can haul bikes + their injured riders, kegs, and whatever else necessary (no dead bodies, please).

Let me know, suckas!

I'm in too, and trying to figure out how to get my twenty quid to the appropriate authorities, being that I never ride anymore it seems.

Also, if someone had a BOB trailer to borrow, I'd like to do some firewood resistance training.

i've got better than a bob trailer, if you want some actual resistance training.

are you going to be bringing a headset this year?

Ha! It's funny because it's true!

Yes, I'm bringing a crown race this time. Also, what have you got in mind besides a bob trailer?

More folks paid, we are almost half way there and Prof. Dave got a hall pass!

So for the less meat inclined I have:
Gretch, Alex, Monica, Caroline C., Shannon, Margaret, Prof. Dave,

I am pretty sure the first 4 are pescitarian, let me know if you eat fish or if you are a strict veggie. Vegans you are on your own.

I don't really eat meat, but I"ll fuck up some fish as long as it ain't farm grown shit.

The Beard is less meat inclined, but will pretty much eat anything. Including your mom.

T-minus 5 days till BC 4.0, so make sure you can find your headlamp and spork, bolt on that rack, patch that hole in your sleeping pad, practice that hammock lashing and prepare for a liver lashing it's almost time to go bike camping

Meet up time has been updated in the first post, 9:30 am at the Ballard Market on Saturday.

Main course will be tacos: Carne Asada for the majority meaties, fish for the pesky pescitarians, black beans for the very veggies, and grass for the "you have to be kidding me" vegans.

if you haven't seen it, here's the route:
part 1
part 2

if the link doesn't work try it again. bikely sucks like that.

a cool 46 miles to south whidbey island state park.
any bike will be fine. there is only a tiny section of nice packed gravel.
there will be a few hills, but nothing like last year's egg and i.
gears recommended, but in no way needed.
and if you can, carry your own shit, the support vehicles will be loaded with food and cripples.
snacks and additional groceries can be had at the start.

and just in case the morning is shit there is an really quick but lame way to get back via the highway and interurban trail. it knocks off about 8 to 10 miles.

am i missing anything?

andre, you should put this in the original post.

I never did get an actual response on this - is a support vehicle still needed? If so, I need someone to message me with some additional information, like route...

Also, a bike rack that straps over a spare tire would be good so that bikes don't have to be stacked inside the vehicle, increasing capacity for humans and their bikes, not to mention excess gear (or a keg)...

Please let me know soon so that I can plan for this, and let me know who, if anyone, has a bike rack that could be used for this purpose.

Cheers,
Wendy
