I'm totally in. Since the happy hour doesn't start until 9, we can do the ride we intended to do this week: long way to Cap Hill through the ID, up 12th, eat and drink for cheap.
At that point, I'll probably bail to go watch/play bike polo, but if the ride wants to come along, I have zero problems with that.

Coastal Kitchen is fine with me, but if you think I'm settling for a Lake Union loop on a day like today, you're crazy.

Oh, I intended to do more than just lake Union, the original plan included Myrtle Edwards.
Here is my nice-weather-ambitious version, including a trip to Georgetown. Stops include Goldie's on Airport Way (quick karaoke stop), then Coastal Kitchen, then bike polo. Right around 20 miles, the trip to Georgetown could easily be cut if the masses are unhappy (that would bring it to 15 or so). Another option is to stop at the convenience store near Gasworks for some beer, and then drink them once we get to Myrtle Edwards. It is, after all, a nice day to be outside.
These are my ideas - but I am completely willing to cede to the forces of democracy.

Beer outside any place nice is the way to go on a day like today. The boulders along Myrtle Edwards will be gorgeous this evening, or the dock thing by the bathrooms, or we can climb up onto the sculptures and get tased by rent-a-cops.
Everyone bring a change of pants.

Note that beer can be purchased from the gas station on Thorndyke and Dravus making it colder upon arrival at Myrtle Edwards. Also gets you off 15th sooner.

or at the dravus qfc, giving you a decent selection.
gmaps-pedometer is disliking me, but i'm also of a mind to come out and ride today.

A gorgeous day like today cries out for a new place to ride and drink beer on the beach, and all you can think of is Myrtle Edwards? For shame! Goldies? Georgetown? Pathetic.
The market is the Hop In. The route I've got covered. You've never been there before, but it'll be great.

Sorry, I guess that's just my inner autist fearing change again.
It was just a suggestion based roughly on what we discussed and failed last week.
As stated: I'll let more creative minds/democracy prevail.

I'm down with some CIP and bike riding and sunshine! I keep wanting to yell out with every person I pass on my commute. But I just do it inside my head. That seems best. I haven't been on a Tuesday ride in forever--fun!
Beautiful day out and they want to prefunk in a dark windowless basement. For shame.

College Inn Pub: it's lovely place with an underground covered patio with no windows. Schkott loves it there and enjoys working on his IT worker tan as he drinks beer.
Also: not coming out as I have to modify one of my bikes for one handed controls, and more importantly: I'm gonna go learn something. Someone please smoke signal ben to inform him.

It's true, I do like it there. But it's been a dark winter. I want daylight and as much of it as I can get right now.

Lee, if you drive to the prefunk, bring some good beer to the Aqua Verde park. I'll split with you. I don't want Jack Daniels......

Riding up 3rd Ave with Monica & Scott from Georgetown. Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union sign blinks "12:00" and then "55 degrees" (although it had thedegrees symbol that I can't seem to find on this laptop, of course). Umm, perfect?
Anyway, thank you to Andre for organizing the Myrtle Edwards pre-funk and all who shared condiments. And thank you to Cass for sharing your sweatshirt.
