Look what I just got in the mail, hawt.

So let's get serious about this thing. Suzanne mentioned training rides last Thursday at the Mars Bar. Anyone into this (Lee told us that Poopy pants did some of these last year). I bought, or Norm's Eatery and Ale House bought, my bib and return ticket. I am planning on a one day affair, I think Derrick is too. 2 day'ers...? Who wants to start putting in some long rides?

Are you guys really doing it in one? Have you ever ridden 200 miles in a day during the worst heat of the summer? Fuck a bunch of that. I did a fast 115 my first day last year and that was plenty, but I am old as shit. Trained by trying to do long rides every Sunday, will prob do the same again. Maybe ride 20-30 miles then meet up with the new Bike Sabbath ride. Come along or let me know what you are doing.

Did I miss a thread or something? How did you hook up this free jersey and registration?

Might be up for pirating it as part of a little RAGBRAI warm up. But didn't you hear, RSVP is the new hotness. Portland doesn't have motherfucking duty free liquor, beer, nor poutine!

i might be doing it this year.

Two day STPs suck. I've done the 50/50 split and the 70/30 split. They both suck, with the second sucking somewhat less.

Anyway, i'm down for some training rides. I need 'em.

'that's the best veggie sausage I've ever had, what is it?'
'morning star cooked in bacon grease!'

I would bike to Vancouver if I was promised poutine.

I would bike to Vancouver if someone vaguely suggested that I might get poutine.
