I'm planning on taking off on my 800+ mile tour sooner than later, and my first stop is Bellingham. What better way is there to start off a trip than getting my ass kicked on a century with all you fine cyclists (who, might I add, actually know the route).

I'm not particular on the exact departing date. Most likely next weekend (May 2nd) or the following weekend depending on how long it takes me to clean out my apartment and get my shit together.

well, next weekend about a hojillion of us are riding up to south whidbey for ben country. it's an easy hop from there up along whidbey and then another ferry across the north.

nothing like starting your tour with a drunken promblem.

What time and place is everybody leaving for Ben Country? I'll definitely come along if I can clean out my apartment by then.

Keystone/Port Townsend/Friday Harbor/Bellingham?

I think he really meant the 'Highway 20' Ferry. They built that ferry so long it stretches from shore to shore.

Where is your tour taking you ultimately? Are you venturing into Canada?

The route via Whidbey is really great, but a little longer perhaps than the normal RSVP route. Hillier too.

If I'm around I'll go with you guys. Let me know the date!
