Andrew is moving on, so I'm looking for another roommate. YOU could be the 4th .83-er to fit right into this smelly neighborhood. YOU could host parties culminating in 20-bike footdown in the living room!
1400ish square foot 2-bedroom loft in the Prudential building in Pioneer Square - 114 Alaskan Way S. Apt. 602. Entrance under the viaduct, between Washington and Yesler (think FHR meetup). Available June 1st.
The highlight of this shoddily converted living space is the west wall, filled with windows looking out over the Viaduct at Elliot Bay, West Seattle, the Olympic mountains, the ferry terminal, and the cranes. Did I mention the sunsets? In the immense main room, you can hear the flowing Aurora river, while the bedrooms and balcony in the back are fairly quiet.
I'm pretty low-key, and I spend most of my time outside. I ride bikes, climb mountains, and design spaceships. I'm a lazy vegetarian who doesn't cook every night. I don't have a TV, but once or twice a month I'll watch a movie on my laptop. I would prefer you keep your TV in your bedroom if it's going to be on most nights. Oh yeah, you get the big bedroom!
The building owners won't allow pets. There is a coin-op laundry room downstairs, and garage parking is available (expensive). There's free daytime street parking in the neighborhood, if you have good timing.
Your share of rent would be $750 including utilities and internet. I'd want last month's rent and a $250 security deposit, which can both be paid over a few months if that helps.
Give me a call or send me an email if you are interested!

Sounds pretty cool. I wish I had to move at this time, but I don't.

Denny,
I need it, but not until August. I might be willing to pay rent (partial) for June and July to hold it, if that is something you might be interested in.

Yes, which will come in handy when they start tearing down the viaduct falls down.
