i'd originally wanted to hit up some more seattle beer week events but it's now becoming painfully obvious that i am going to have to work late.

there are some sweet things going on. it's nat's birthday, so if you run across him give him a spanking.

the one event i want to highlight most is scheduled late in the evening:

New belgium 12 pac cans at the Troll in Fremont
11pm. Come by bike.

also let me highly recommend the old sol barleywine vertical at big time - last night i was getting full pours of the 04,06,07, and 08. delicious. anyhow, those of you who can ride, should.

Ben's brother (the dreaded homeless guy that's always missing his shoes) will be sleeping under the bridge.

I will go to Big Time for any Old Sol that's left.

I have not had any Seattle Beer week yet and it makes me sad.

Seattle Beer Week Night sans Lee, he can catch up.

I say: Prefunk at Big Time.

Ideas for the evening:

Tangletown:
Big Al Brewers Night at Latona Pub which is near our starting point.

Greenwood:
"Three Skulls Ales will be releasing its new Bumboo Grog at Pillages Pub. Historically Bumboo is a drink made from rum, water, sugar and nutmeg." And if it sucks we can just ride over to Naked City up in

CapiHill
Rogue Issaquah Meet the Brewer Night with David Hutchinson at the Hopvine Pub.

Firkin-Firkin A Firkin Throw-down Washington vs California at Elysian Capitol Hill.
8 styles -16 Breweries all in Firkins: 3PM Capitol Hill.
Pale Ale - Walking Man Knuckle Dragger Pale vs Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
IPA - Big Time Scarlet Fire vs Firestone Walker Union Jack Pale
Imperial IPA - Boundary Bay Imperial IPA vs Pizza Port Carlsbad Poor Man’s IPA
ESB - Elysian The Wise ESB vs Marin Brewing ESB
Porter - Snoqualmie Steam train Porter vs Russian River Porter
Stout - Pike XXXStout vs Stone Russian Imperial Oak-aged Stout
Scotch Ale - Silver City Fat Woody Oak-aged Scotch Ale vs Bear Republic Heritage Scotch Ale
Specialty - Ram N-Gate Challenger Pale vs 21st Amendment Black IPA

You receive 2 - 6 oz logo’d glasses and 6 tokens for $12. Each token is for a 3oz pour and more tokens can be purchased for $1.25/per token

Then Fremont:
New belgium 12 pac cans at the Troll in Fremont
11pm. Come by bike.

In that order with possible omissions or other stops.

I'm going to be coming back from a belated Mother's Day dinner and will very well likely be in the area in time to catch back up. Keep those phones on.

No, but we'll be eating Field Roast and chasing dragons in the parking lot of the Whole Foods on 64th and Roosevelt later.

Also: It's how we roll.

Let me just say that the Dogfish 120 minute IPA kicked my ass last night. Approach that bad boy with caution.

My beer count was the same as usual. But usually I drink Miller High Life.

Substitute High Life with Imperial IPA... What could go wrong‽‽
