south point passage is not so good for fire. you've got a clear line of sight to it from the uw police department.

Georgetown options

1) The local kids call it anarchy point. It's really called Gateway Park North. Unfortunately the homeless dude seems to have moved on, but it's at the end of road, on the river, in an industrial area. Don't know if a ride's been here before or not, but it's one of my favorite places to go outside and drink in the hood.

http://tinyurl.com/anarchypt

2) Industry Lounge in Georgetown is easy to miss, so there's space and a crazy internet jukebox, waiting to be ruined. Found about it a week or two ago on advice from fellow binge drinkers as a hideaway.

http://playfoursquare.com/venue/49998
http://www.myspace.com/206industrylounge

3) My first thought is bikes on the bull run on the tracks. This is a fucking terrible idea and I take it back. I want none of your deaths on my conscience.

Bikes in the skate park?

http://www.marginalwayskatepark.org/

Something fun to do in the Boeing pedestrian tunnels at 16th Ave S (South Park Bridge)? I usually just ride through them until security shows up.

That's tough. At some point I started valuing not ending up in the emergency room.

fuck outside seating

(ok just wanted to say that)

I vaguely remember being able to go through a hallway to a back outdoor seating area I might be wrong but Yelp also says they have outdoor seating.

EDIT: Research has confirmed there is a courtyard. Research = people mentioning it in reviews.

btw, I always find this place by going in the door with the overhang on 1st that says Mira. go down the stairs and to your right. bar is in the back, courtyard entrance is next to the soda cooler in the restaurant area.

I seriously hope that
1. You actually go take out the hornets nest for the "stupid" bike challenge.
2. If you do, someone takes video.

For the record, my stupid bike challenge was going to be bike tug of war. Tie two bikes together at the top tube/seat tube junction using like ten feet of rope and a couple of bowlines. Two well sauced riders mount each bike, and on the count of three, attempt to pull the other bike backwards across the line.

Absolutely nothing could go wrong.

But the hornets nest stomping was a much better idea.

Note to self:

Do not convince people to ride who do not really want to ride.

When they get fed up and want to go home you will feel obligated to get them home.

Then you will eat your safeway deli food sober and at home.

Matthew, I think Whiplash is more what you'd want. Ropes tied to people, not bikes, plus a selection of old tubes in between for sproingyness.

grumbling via ben at westlake.
decided to go south.
hit rainier safeway and picked up dry ice and water bottles.
south down mlk way across east marginal and farther south on the duwamish river trail.
break under i5 to let off some dry ice bombs and to poke our heads up under the overpass onto the freeway
souther to what we thought was the riverside casino, turned out to be the retarded cousin casino. lost 30 dollars in pull tabs.
watched rogelio fix a wheel for an hour
north sprint up east marginal to georgetown.

then i lost the group, i tried to find a cab the entire way home and ended up riding it all the way. took me an hour to get home from georgetown. slow and steady

Head towards a shitty casino.

Get too drunk to get home safely.

Get in the van of a guy I trust.

Call Monie in the "Jeff's Van Groupsexathon."

Scream out Stone Temple Pilots lyrics as I tip over in the back of a rape van.

Pee on Henry's garage door.

Don't get friend raped.

Stumble out of Jeff's van to fix my bike and ride home all 25ish blocks which are mostly down hill.

WIN.

Good evening of seeing you bastards.

Also: Derrick is a substandard drunkard due to his early leaving towards home.

There was a plan AND a van this time to get them all the way home.

3 cups of coffee and an omelet to start the day.

Minus chives and tomatoes, plus mushrooms, olives and a lot more cheddar. It was pretty tasty and not scary like a Beth's omelet. Also the Ebb and Tide room has Karaoke, I wonder if we bring our own PJ if they will let us sing.

At the 1st Ave S bridge on the way to G-Town Ethan and I pulled off to go to WSEA. Moonlite ride through W.Marginal way, collapse sweaty and mostly drunk ~midnight.

Woke up at 6am, had bourbon and coffee at the ABR tent. Escorted the missus and her coworker north and hit four more BTWD stations; got a bunch of water bottles, cliff bars, bananas and a sweet pair of SmartWool socks. Rolled into work 5min late dirty, hungover, exhausted and smelly.

Happy Friday! Anyone else going to the BTWD afterparty in Ballard? Beer garden!

Drinking sangria from a box equates to a hangover the following morning: lesson learned.

you missed the conversation where we all agreed that the box of wine was a big bag of headache waiting to happen.
