June is filling up like a mother fucker. That trip is totally weather dependent for me, it will be a lot more fun if the weather is nice. I've got that weekend set aside (once again) to go to the beach if the weather looks grim, and on this if it looks nice.

If we are going all hippy lets make a sweatlodge near the river then we can hop in the river then go back and cook in the sauna

If Ken comes on this trip, we will meet the Grateful Dead quota. He's got a bear tattoo.

ive got a car that should bve able to fit 4 bikes and people. 5 if we REALLY have to but less comfy + gear. i have to fix my shocks still since ben and his huge fat girlfriend sat in the back and broke them, but they'll be fixed by then.

so far zero spots taken in the car. im going solo to this, so i expect to be a bigger than normal problem.

Does anybody else training for the STP want to leave from Seattle on bike, thereby getting some extra miles?

Bah! I'll be out of town, can't go. If y'all want to try cooking in orange peels again, try making omelettes. It works and is fun, if sorta impractical.

OMG lets get this thread going again cause we are going camping this weekend. Forget Egos, Kitty Sandwiches, and Carrot Top (no bottoms).

I'm not up for planning another banquet just yet but if we wanted to throw down potluck/bbq style we could sign up to bring certain items and have a feast when we get there instead of eating freeze dried who-ha.

Clair and I are in. We'll be driving her truck up and have room for another person + bike. It's cozy with 3 people, though.

just to throw in some dissension. how about rat trap pass?
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2920489

with white chuck mountain's 3000'+ prominence, and the option of a quick jaunt up to thornton lake, it's clearly the more "i'll slap your face, bitch" way to spend the weekend.
serioulsly, it's suppose to be fantastic.

Nope, separate bikes. We'll have the same number of chains, but twice as many deraillers to break!

well, about the time the ol' duke boys came around the bend with rosco hot on their trail and saw that bridge they realized they had a bit of a pickle on their hands.
