I'm sending this out in the hopes that everybody that is going to take part in the Scavenger Hunt could preregister. It will be extremely helpful for planning.
Thanks a bunch.

Clothing is optional, but recommended. I'm hoping for a dip in Lake Washington. Maybe.

Great ride, good job Ryan and ECBB. Camping is for suckers. ~43 miles we put in total, 2 mechanicals (Chase), 4 Loko Uva drinks, and 2 pairs of red undies taken from very generous ladies.

I think I enjoy the prize of a meal at the end of an alley cat over random bike prizes (stems, pedals, tire levers) that end up in my parts bin.

Man those eggs and sausage were delicious. My compliments to the hardworking chefs.

My condolences to the non-rider hit by a train at the carkeek checkpoint.

Thanks from GO MEANS GO to everybody that came out. My congratulations to those that made it to the bitter end, and got to enjoy the breakfast that met us at the finish. 30 pounds of potatoes, six pounds of sausage, 120 eggs, a couple pounds of tofu, a half a gallon of sour cream a half a gallon of salsa, 100 cups of coffee and 2 gallons of orange juice.

A recap can be found at:

Evelyn and I ran into two people on bikes looking for Olympia beer at the Ballard Market at maybe 8:30 or 9ish? They had apparently already been to at least 4 other places and couldn't find any.

This was a great event and kudos to Ryan & co. for making it all come together. As we ate breakfast at Louisa Boren Park with the dawn breaking and birds chirping, I couldn't help but wonder which of our .83 camping buddies was up at that hour starting a pot of coffee.

The 2-3am hour was the most brutal, but the coffee & maple donut at Winchell's provided energy to make it to the end.

Again - awesome time!

That was me, the guy who wakes up with the sun. I had a nice little walk by myself, then ran into Scott before anyone else started to appear.

Really? I was stumbling around in my underwear looking for some frozen half n half around 6am (hangover tummy) and I remember waving to some body emerging from a cocoon/hammock. Musta been you.
