Ok thursday is my anniversary ride. One year and you guys haven't scared me off yet.
My proposal since I am cripple.
1. You guys bike around and be hooligans.
2. Meet me at south lake union and I will provide a re-creation of the drink that Scott R. provided on my first ride that obliterated everyone. It involves tang and massive amounts of alcohol.
3. After that ride heads to Hula hula for karaoke and fruitty giant bowl drinks. They also have lounge lawn chairs outside. http://www.hulahula.org/
Ride could be Tiki themed.

OMG! this sounds so fun.
Also, this is the one-year anniversary for the SOC.
Take that as you will.

What are you guys doing wrong? This just isn't the way. The next thing you know we will have dogs and cats sleeping together, it will be anarchy I tell you.
Maybe someone else hasn't been riding with the group this last year, I wonder who that could be? Anyone?

I am going to be painting pottery again in the U-Village for the prefunk (my coworkers love pottery painting birthday parties, what can I say), but I will meet up. Miles, they were asking if you were going to be there. You left quite an impression.
I have several leis and paper umbrellas to contribute to the tiki theme.

3. Safety third.
4. Firemen can make you feel very guilty
5. If Cass asks you if you want to see her cupcakes it doesn't mean she has deserts hidden in her messenger bag.
6. Apparently 24 years ago my father took a vacation in southern Califormia and meet a lady who then produced a blond haired boy.
7. That I can follow my don't poop where you eat rule for about 6 months
8. Posts along the Burke Gilman are hard and not made of fairydust.
9. When it comes down to it 99.9% of these people are kind wonderful people that will take care of peeps when needed.

17. Bus/Taxi/Car rides are completely acceptable
18. Having kids can interfere with debauchery
19. Steel is real
20. I am fat and mostly asian
21. People love my naked avatar
22. The ride will not always stop for mechanicals but always stops for cougars. RAWR!!

I'm also a wee bit past my one year. My additions:
24: The candyman can be, and probably should be, turned down.
25: "Don't you ever lie to me" is best played among knowledgeable friends.
26: There will be no flattering photo posted in the morning.

It's _just_ possible that we're more fun than painting pottery with work ladies in a mall.

The problem is that if you like a place to eat, you'll probably like using their bathrooms.

Where/when are we meeting in South Lake Union? I'm borrowing a bike and it's making my knees hurt so i'd like to do more drinking and less riding.

Heh. Note to self.
Then again, I had to sneak in my real name somehow, right? Just because I enjoy the ironic (or so I pretend) false-modesty of a self-deprecating username doesn't mean I want you people calling me 'poser' for the rest of my life!

South Lake Union Park is literally at the south tip of the lake. There is a nice lit grassy knoll just to the left of the center for wooden boats.
I was planning on seeing if I could get a yeahoo who is actually riding to text me when the ride is on the way there and I could start heading down there and pouring drinks.

Monica also learned in her first year that timing rides is futile. The ride leaves at 7:30 and goes where it goes and gets there when it gets there. Check @point83 on twitter if you need to know where the ride is (has been).
