So apparently the messy break up with me and my ex-apartment in Carson City has left a nasty nasty on my record, the new landlady of my sweet new apartment noticed this and decided that rather than let me take over my roomie's lease next month, that we both need to be out by the end of next month.
Anyone looking for a roomie? heh.

offer her double the damage deposit. sometimes that works
a landlord is generally just worried that they will get the apartment back in the same shape as they gave it to you.. so basically money talks. talk to her and say "hey i was a dumb kid, such and such happened, but ive got my shit together, a great job, and if you're worried about me destroying something, how does a fuckload more money as deposit help to change your mind"

'ito's suggestion could work, or you could offer sexual favors.

The other side of the duplex I live in may be available soon/now. Neighbors appear to have left without saying goodbye. It's $650, one bedroom, spacious, expensive oil heat, single pane windows, good neighborhood.

It's a little far from work, but it wouldn't be so bad..
How well in are you with the owner person? Would you be able to talk me up? Huh? ;D

I'll talk to the landlord and see what's up. He's pretty laid back.

Awesome, thanks Denny!
Seriously, I just want to settle my ass down and have a place for a long while. I'm sick of this finding a new place every few months thing..
I guess I should have thought of that before I went and fucked my credit, eh?
