It's time for bikes, crusing style ... like "two miles an hour so everybody sees you" as explained by the DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince in "Summertime".

What would you say to this proposal:
6/25: Last Post Ride

See if we can make it down to Emerald Downs in time for the last race. Post time is about 9:20. If we leave Westlake right on the dot of 7:30 and don't dawdle, I think we can pull up outside the track at about 9:15, giving us ample time to rush in and get our bets down, drink some $3.00 beers, then turn around in time to hit last call in Georgetown or somewhere on the way.

Not exactly a slow ride, but at least a mostly flat one.

Veer the movie is showing at the Central Cinema at 9pm tonight. I for one would love to see this. Theaters with booze and bikes. I mean, c'mon now. What could go wrong?

Something tells me we would need to secure tickets in advance ... kinda like what tehjobies did for the DBB Film Festival last year where he shelled out for tix and we reimbursed him with cash on the ride.

Dear Ben,

I will be checking out a new bike in Bellingham tonight, so don't let anyone do anything too awesome tonight.

Where the prefunk at?

But more importantly, I'll tell you where the pre-pre funk is at. Uber is tapping a 1-year old keg of Dogfish Head 120 at 4:00 pm.

Because what better way to start an evening of bike riding than with 20% abv IPA?

We still need a pre-funk, after last week it really needs to have outdoor seating, and in honor of our two belles on a tandem I'm calling out Two Bells patio.
