Sunday will be a lovely day at the Races, bring your large hat. Bike Sabbath will head to Emerald Downs in Kent to partake in some horse racing then finish off the day at the Summit Public House for some bike racing, the End of the Tour.
Emerald Down is a pleasant ride along trail most of the way. Plus you might walk away a rich person.
Meet at 11 at the Two Bells for food or 12 for just the ride. We will try to leave as close to 12 as possible to get max horse racing.

I think I might try and make it to this ride. I've been meaning to make it out on a sunday ride but usually sunday morning I'm nursing a horrible hang over. But riding to emerald downs sounds like fun.

Pictures or it didn't happen.
I'm going to try and make this one, need to get some miles in and this should be a train wreck...

Don't forget, Two Bells doesn't open until 11:30. See you there.

And how did that work for you? The Sisters failed and Louder is always ... better?
In other news:
- Professor Dave gave great explanations on everything. I won 60 cents.
- Emerald Downs doesn't make/serve mint juleps. :(
- Mother nature humbled me with her relentless sun.
- Pacelines are beautiful things.
- Who needs the light rail, anyway?
- Headwinds the entire-damn-way-home are challenging.
- I love tater tots.

One of my favorite rides in a long time. Interurban trail on way to Auburn was great. Lots of flowers bloomin with old trains in the background.
Horse racing was a whole different world. Carrying my drink around every where seemed so odd but I guess as was said "its like Vegas but smaller". Thanks to prof Dave for showing us the ropes. A great guide in this magical land. He is also brilliant at talking us out of getting in trouble for stealing cookies.
