Fuck this shit - it's going to be fucking hot today after work. Let us mount bicycles and purchase alcohol and tell each other lies near a large body of water until the sun goes down.

Bonus points if you show up with a BBQ (cof cof Andre cof).

Edit - Called: MADISON Beach - 6pm

Madison is much closer to the UDistrict, and is thus my vote.

I like swimming. Anyone going to be around earlier than 6:00? I work much closer to Lk Wa than I live, and it would be somewhat dumb to ride to WSEA to turn around and come back.

I'll probably head straight there after work at 5 since I don't know how late I'll be able to stay out before a ladyfriend calls, so yeah, early is good.

look for me. I'll be the guy swimming around by himself. Actually, I'm going to get a beer at Bert's Red Apple and enjoy the scenery until someone I know shows.

there isn't any way to cut through broadmoor / the arboretum on the north near 520, coming from the UD and thus avoid going up and over madison, is there? I'm just gonna have to haul over it in this heat?

no. Maybe you could swim, but the golf course has it all fenced off pretty well.

Leaving Ravenna now, shall see you cats soon. If I don't find you Langston, or others... I'll be the guy in goofy long speedos pretending he knows how to swim...

Hey I was thinkin of leaving my house (wallingford) around 9ish (plus or minus - after it's a bit less hot) to go get some of 2for1 burgers at the Pub at Pipers Creek (105th and greenwood)
If you have never been there, believe me - they are worth it.
So if there's a cadre at the beach, or elsewhere, who'r up for a little ride for some gorgeous beef let's hook up.

Same bat time - but this time let's avoid the crowd and go to the Madrona T-Docks just down the road. Easier ride too.

Possible high of 98 tuesday, fucking gross. The Tuesday ride should roll by and we should have a T-dock pizza party since there aren't really any grills there. Madrona park has grills but will be super crowded and with tons of kids running around. Who dosen't like pizza?

i think you'll quite agree that the official time should be moved to 6pm.

My lady stayed at my place last night, and since we walked to the bus together I literally forgot my bike at home. I have never done this before and am now incredibly ticked since it'll be nearly 6 by the time I can even pick it up back in Ballard. Although I still have damp swim trunks and a towel in my bag, yes to summer!

Can someone convince me this is going to be "maybe moderately alright, average at best" enough to skip out of work early today? I mean, it's a tuesday.
