I'm in the city and sweating a lot. I was late to meet you today(07/28) and saw a lot of posts about swimming... So, can we repeat tomorrow(07/29)?
I know nothing about the right place, so If you want please post a google maps link with the place and my bike and I'll be there with my panniers full of beer and ice (I've tested and certified my Ortlieb panniers with 5 liters of beer, no more). Is it enough?

My god! I went to a bar with conditioned air for a beer and I met 2 guys who invited me!!!!! So right now I'm drunk!!! Nice people, one of them works for the government planning the traffic :D They're going to join us on Friday for the Critical Mass.

for those not in the know, take the burke north until 65th, take a right down the hill and into the south entrance of the park. near the water the road branches off to the left. follow it to the swim area.

freshwater doesnt have crabs, barnacles, tentacley things, seaweed, jellyfish, GIANT FROTHING POOP FLOATERS FROM BAINBRIDGE, or other creepy things.

Best thing about Magnuson Beach, they make you work a little for that dive platform Plus it's cementy enough (IE, not slippery plastic like madrona t-docks) to allow ya to get a good running start!
This is very quickly turning into the best summer ever.
