So, where's the ride going tomorrow? I get in at the Amtrak station at about 9:45, barring any mishaps or southbound freight. I will have a bike, and I will eventually need to end up in west seattle. It's been a while since I've been on a pointy three.

I'm going to suggest Goveland Beach on mercer island even though I've never been there. The water is clean and it's on the sunny/sunsety side of the island.

If we want to save a bit of time, we could try this slightly closer, apparently more secluded spot on M.I., Calkins Landing. Never been there, either.

Fuck yeah.
I was about to say the same thing. New beach, any new scenery is always cool.
In that vein.
For a future ride, I dunno how adventurous people are feeling, but this spot looked mighty compelling when I biked past and saw a buncha kids jumpin off that t-dock a few weeks back. It's a haul, but what could appeal to .83 more than havin a hootin good time right in the face of teh rich folks? We might just set a new record low for the ratio of time spent at a place before cops got called/time spent biking there.
Holy shit, those dickheaded airplanes are making all that noise again. It always makes me wonder what goes through the heads of people visiting/moved from other countries that have been bombed by similar aircraft...

i would suggest against calkins landing. it's just a cul de sac between mcmansions with water access.
but hey it might be fun to screw with the newly poor nouveau rich.

Where is the boss? There're to many people giving their opinion.
For me a beach with fine sand and without jelly fishes and sharks it's ok.
Do I need my trunks?
Are we going to bring beer?

Kevin's beach looks awesome, it's only a couple miles past the Prof's, and nobody wants an even angrier hippie on their hands. Besides, even if Eric gets off the train and gets his bike back together before we make it back he could always go ride the bulls at Cowgirls to see what he's missed in the past few. Or hey, basements are mercifully cool and dank, how bout that Owl n Thistle?
Tshirts will be out tonite. Lots of folks wanted one Tues but didn't have money. I will be out of town for almost a month, so if you want one before September make sure you've set aside a spare bill for me, eh?
There, that's the last anybody has to read about it for the next several weeks.
oh yeah, and

okay, is it time to discuss the prefunk yet?
somewhere with a lil' tasty food sounds pleasing to my mind. tasty food and cold beer.
alternatively, we order a pizza and prefunk at south lake union.

Leaving the Mercer Roanoke I was tired, in the rear, rolling slow with all that weight and I tell you guys, the view of ya'lls blinking lights strung out the whole length of the I90 bridge was damn gorgeous. What's that pointing at? That's the fun arrow, follow it and it willl lead you to the good times.
A halo of white lights pointing back at me from the from the opening of the I90 tunnel turned the motors back on and I raced Chase to Roanoke #2 for another hour or two of laughs. Damn you bastards, every time I convince myself I'm ready to go home, instead I stay out and never ever regret it. You didn't have to make that big mess with the ketchup and mustard tho...
