South end of the lake: 11pm

What?: Tacos at 2300, Racing at 0000.

Huh?: Yeah, tacos. I'll bringing taco bits and maybe some horchata. Feel free to bring something hispanic to gnosh on, but don't arrive sans bike.

Really?: Yes, really. Racing and salsa... maybe you should bring some chips. Midnight swimming would probably be a bad idea.

Yay.

I'll be back around tonight with my 12,493,862-speed bike and that trophy. I feel a sense of loss taking it off the top of my piano where it has been sitting all month.

I really want to get a single speed and go up against you guys. I have the ultimate respect for people that can pedal as hard as you can on those bikes. I'd probably get my ass handed to me if I had one.

Either way, it's going to be yet another perfect night and I'm looking forward to it.

Hey no more rat-induced flesh-pretzel wipeouts this time!

That was fucking rad.

Two dudes on BMX bikes (one with a ghetto blaster playing 69 Boys, other one nearly puking after the race) ruled.

Tacos.

Topless track stands.

Sprinklers.

that was a lil' crazy. summer! i had a dude shoulder me off-track on the first corner, no clue what was up with that. wasn't shopping for that trophy or 22oz of beer hard enough for a wreck.

also, i need to throw on a harder gear. 70 inches means serious spinning.

in any case, rogelio: you are the man, sir. el maño.

I rode. I hit gravel. I fell. I got up. I was still not last. How is this possible?

1st: Tall Bryan
2nd: Padriac

1st lady: Monie

1st funny bike: the shaved head kid with the super low geared BMX.

DFL: random chick #2, aka: Annie Baker

Felix came through again with winning the trackstand competition. It was decided that too much alcohol had been consumed for a safe skinny dip race between dock.

That was a good show kids and thanks for bringing the extra munchies to share.

For once, Rogelio did not abuse alcohol distribution and his position of authority.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Those were college students of drinking age and I saw no IDs that would disaffirm that assumption.

Rogelio you are doing a Fan-fucking-tastic job with the greenlake race. Seriously.

Has any one ever thought about doing a race of champions ladies division? 1st ladies could do a race before the boys. (purely coincidence I am asking about it this month).
