check out the information on the tour de fat over at the new belgium site.

brouwer's is hosting an afterparty starting at 5pm. gold sprints with prizes, bands, beer discounts. the new belgium guys are pretty awesome - they sponsored my favorite event of seattle beer week by bringing a messenger bag full of ice (!) and cans of beer to the troll at midnight.

the La Follie is so fucking amazing. I'd never had a "sour" before, wow what a special suprise.

They may give away 2 bikes at Brouwers! Spoke to Ian to see if there could be a boy sprint race and a girl sprint race...we shall see. There is also a raffle box at the Dray. Put your name on the paper and if they call it out at the event you win a bike.

We will be giving away two bikes. One to the men's winner, one to the women's winner.

42 is the number of people for the whole event. There may be a cap of men's/women's racers, in order to get a more gender balanced event. It is free to race.

Just a thought, but I may reduce the qualifier round distance to 250m, from 500m. Don't get your hopes up though, because I like the 500m

The bikes are only one size, 50cm C-t-C. It's the same frame we've been using for the 42BELOW sprints.

Hope to see you all there.
