2nd this statement, or a good place for the ride to go to.

Also still voting for the ride to head up QA hill for the dive bar splendor that is Targies.

I have been won over to the cause. Funhouse for prefunk. Targies somewhere in here. Back to the Funhouse later for bootylicious dance party.

Wait, the Laadla bar isn't the Funhouse? I'm confused. I'll see you at Westlake.

No. Laadla bar is a dive bar behind an indian restaurant. Its kinda hidden on Fairview across from The Seattle Time. Its got 2.50 well drinks till midnight. It is hella dark, lit up by christmas lights, and mirrors every where.

Dear C-line,

Can't ride, sorry to miss your dance party. Been in bed all week with el mexican flu which probably got into my system through that mono Justin gave me. Getting dizzy walking a block up the street makes me think that riding is a bad idea. Please to send a telegraph to Ben informing him of my ride/noride status.

I'll get you a cougar-card later.

tag is more fun when the grass isn't basically a giant slip'n'slide. and when i'm not full of cheeseburger.

I'd have to whole-heartedly disagree. That was the most fun I've had playing tag in a long time. Granted, I am a lactard , thus I was sadly devoid of cheeseburger.

Happy birthday, Caroline!

I woke up in someone else's bed with a nametag on my shirt proclaiming my name to be "ASSHOLE". I think that pretty much sums up my relationship with this group?

But I'm being dramatic - that was a fun night. Alex really enjoys you guys and it was hilarious escorting her home and watching her brain tease out riding while hammered. She'll be back. I'm really glad the rain stopped but I still smell kind of moldy at work since I wasn't able to change before coming in. Ugh. I'm gonna go buy a clean shirt on the ave here shortly.

EDIT: duh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE! Huzzah!

Ugh.... of all the bad decisions I made last night, the worst, by far, was eating 3 quarter pounders with cheese.

Happy Birthday, Caroline.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt uncomfortable with that dude dancing onstage in that mask.

I had no fucking clue who that was. He asked me to get up and I said no, then I turn around and he is on stage.

It was DJ Stroky?

Well for the record it didn't end up in the drink on purpose as I understand it. It was a drunken accident.

If you're saying it, then I believe you - I'm sure he meant no harm. But we weren't the only ones to have drawn that conclusion in a vacuum.

Agreed. I did have mixed feelings about it tho.. cheered him on, but then later felt weird about it.

damn fun night. Lamborghiniz and Fresh Espresso both kicked ass! Hope to see both of them again soon. And in the bigger picture... Pointy3 needs to go to more live music events!!!!!

Bummer, Liz! :-[ get well soon!

And on that note ... The Skylark in West Seattle has free live music every Thursday thru Sunday nights ... Next time we go to Lincoln Park or somewhere else down south, we should invade the Skylark on our way back north!

(admittedly, can has alterior motive... my house is about two blocks from it)
