I will be celebrating my birthday on Sept 18th at 8pm until close.

Since I wasn't able to celebrate it last year I am having fun with it this year. I reserved the Grotto Room in the downstairs of the Rendezvous.

It has a bar and a tiny stage which will be perfect for....

KARAOKE!!! Karaoke will be happening.

Because I am old the theme is Vintage, whatever that means to you. If you want to wear a wiggle dress from the 50s great, Zoot suit great, leather pants and a Iron Maiden t-shirt great, gap shirt from '97 great, anything. Most importantly just come.

Bring anyone your heart desires (as long as they are over 21).

I'll also be celebrating a birthday (technically on the 16th) and I don't care what you wear or sing as long as you're very, very drunk.

Can you get a drink special going on Old Fashions?

Using the magical time-bending properties of gin, I've traveled into the FUTURE (which looks remarkably like the past) to attend this party and bring back photos of what you'll be missing if you do not show up.

I don't think I can get a drink special on them but I will make sure they can make them.

Also we will have our own bar and bartender in the room and I will encourage people to use that one as there was a requirement buy a certain $ amount of drinks.

That's the day before my birthday, but I'm sure my birthday party won't be nearly as cool as yours.

That's the day fifteen days after my birthday! I will ask Greg for tips on making my birthday as cool as your birthday.

Oh, why bother him? I'll just pour myself some time-bending sprint juice (gin) and find out myself.

I will be there twice, now and then. No one let me kill past me in the future or there will be problems.

They maaaaay have been doing their own research on my time travel methodology. Nose to the grindstone.

I don't want to ruin it, but both future-you and not-so-future-you show up with hilarious results! Oh, the times that were had. Just wait.

Just think of it as drinking practice for your birthday.

If you really want to feel old, get everyone to dress up as themselves from the year you graduated from high school...

Maybe if I continue to let my hair grow until 9/18 it will approach the wonders of my high school 'haircut'.

Larry will be wearing his Siouxsie T-shirt he got in High School, not the one he got at Hot Topic last week.

Woowee! Birthday for Monica (and many others, apparently)! Love the idea and it's on the calendar. I should dig up the vintage picture of the fantastic mullet I had in 2nd grade ...

As greghxc knows, I'm kind of a shit show when it comes to the karaoke machine. This could be a good one though.

my job would be a lot easier if grunge counted as vintage.

If 1996 Gap counts as vintage than grunge counts too.
