As greghxc knows, I'm kind of a shit show when it comes to the karaoke machine.

Trainwreck Karaoke: In one hat, terrible r&b ballads sung in impossible keys. In another, various foreign accents you must sing in. Grab one of each at random and GO.

Less painful than TW Darts, if just barely.

If 1996 Gap counts as vintage than grunge counts too.

Especially if you wear your dreadlocks!

The bartender here seems worried that we won't pull in $500. Help prove him wrong

"oof"

happy belated birthday miss monica! what a splendid shindig ya'll put together. i'm excited to see the photos, everybody looked so damn dapper. greg did some fantastic work getting the setup - next time we'll try to get better at using kjams and everything will go smoother. also we'll try to know that we're getting booted to the street at 12:45.

thanks to jon safety monkey for hosting the "karaoke" afterparty, hope the folks that had to ride home in the rain survived.

Oof, indeed. I slept until noon and my head is still pounding. Thanks for a great party, Monica, and thanks to all of you for rocking with me on "Total Eclipse Of The Heart."

Disclaimers:
1) No flash = interesting mood lighting and blur. Think of it as artsy fartsy.
2) I put the darn thing away early in the night, so things are missing. AND I didn't twitter the song list (sigh and regret!).
3) There is no photo that will capture how damn hot it was.

Monica, you were adorable as hell in that outfit.
Greg & PeteJr.: nice work with the karaoke set-up and trouble shooting!

That was so not a problem. I asked if we hit the minimum and his reply was "oh yeah!" Then after everyone cleared out he said "You guys sure know how to party". Yes Yes we do.

I wish I got a picture of the place at the end with the lights on. It was trashed and every surface was covered with drinks.

Thanks to everyone that came out. Special thanks to Greg for putting together the most professional self put together karaoke system ever. Thanks to Pete for supplying the songs and the software.

& thanks to Lee and Pete for taking over 2nd shift when I was thoroughly over technology for the night!

My gold chain has already sweat through to the silver. Solid gold my ass. I never should have sold a kidney to pay for it.

I ended up with someone's suit vest that was left behind, let me know if you want it back. I also ended up with a Team Train Wreck shirt, but I'm prettttty sure I can get that to it's owner back at HQ.

Epic party. Someday love will find you all.

Andre
Your getting pretty artsy with your black and white. When are you having a show?
Looks like I'm doing my Charles Bukowski impersonation.

i missed seeing the henry chinaski look alike.

ro, you gotta read some bukowski next camping trip you're on. he wasn't an early riser though, better have a night time reading after a copious amount of whiskey and after we start betting on something and sleeping in ditches.
