Bum rides: Mid-week daytime rides for all of us un/underemployed bums. Because really, we're not working, so let's take advantage of that.
Here's the plan*:
Meet at Victrola Coffee (on 15th) at 10:30am on Wednesday, grab a cup of coffee, leave at 11-ish.
Ride out to the Ballard locks to check out the salmon and try to figure out how we can catch one of those suckers for lunch.
Ride out to Discovery Park and hunt for the cougar. We prolly won't have guns, so if we find the cougar, we'll have to improvise.
After all that work, we'll need a cold beer. Good thing the Roanoke on Capitol Hill serves $1 beer & tacos on Wednesdays!
*All plans subject to change according to weather, wild animals, or beer consumption.
If you're one of those working types, come out and meet us at the Roanoke after you get off. We should be there around 6. We'll prolly be there til 10 or 11.

This sounds amazing. I might quit my job.

Excellent advice, sir! I am currently working on that, along with about 10% of the population.
While dealing with all the temp agencies, unanswered e-mails, rejection letters, and cover letters/resumes sent out into the void, I decided to take a day to ride my damn bicycle along with anyone else who's in a similar situation. Misery loves company, right?

You are correct! I for one think it sucks fat dick. In the mean time I am looking forward to making the best of it. As such, I'll let you know when I am cracking my first beer of the day/ride on Wednesday. I think it will be some time around 10:45. Enjoy work!
